Charming Designer Cottage on Marsh

This cozy renovated cottage with stunning marsh views is just a short walk to beautiful Goose Rocks Beach. No need to pack gear as the cottage comes equipped w/ 2 kayaks, 2 bikes/helmets, and a beach buggy. Stroll to the general store for morning coffee, walk on the beach or head out and explore the Kennebunks & Cape Porpoise. Our community offers world class dinning, boutique shopping , entertainment and beautiful hiking trails all close by. At days end, kick back & relax by the fire pit... "The way life should be”.

The cottage has been recently renovated and reflects the coastal charm of the local seaside community. It has a fully stocked kitchen, bathroom with heated floor, and large walk in shower. The outdoor shower is an added bonus after a long day at the beach. There is comfortable seating for relaxing marsh bird watching. We also provide an outdoor portable Bluetooth speaker, beach towels, kayaks, bikes, beach buggy and even a picnic basket! For the colder months, we also offer snow shoes for exploring the nearby trails. Everything you’ll need to create a perfect Maine beach stay.

Beautiful Cottage!

The cottage is amazing, very comfortable and they make great use of the space. The view of the marsh is very serene and it’s only a short 5-8 minute walk to the beach. While we only planned to stay 2 nights we wish we could have stayed longer, and would definitely visit again! Thank you for a great place!

Anniversary get away

Very comfortable cottage in a great location. Close enough to Kennebunkport should you want to visit but also far enough away to enjoy the solitude of Goose Rock. Definitely 5 stars!

Beautiful Cottage

Such an amazing jewel of a place, such a cozy cottage. Close to the beach and perched on the edge of a beautiful marsh full of wildlife, the cottage is perfectly updated down to every detail.

Rooms with a view

Peaceful, exactly what we were looking for. The large windows overlooking the marsh, a cozy (electric) fire and comfy and clean interior provided us with the perfect short vacation we hoped for.

Lovely small home!

Lovely property right on the marsh. Beautiful views. The house is small but cozy and wonderful. We loved it for 2 people.

Stunning & Peaceful Retreat

Beautiful, serene, luxurious, and well-equipped retreat. Perfect for a cozy romantic fall getaway. JoAnn was a wonderful host and helpful throughout our stay with questions. She even allowed us to easily extend our stay when we didn’t want to leave! We hope to be back!

Beautiful Cottage in Kennebunkport

Our stay was amazing. We have some health issues which require special attention and JoAnne had no problem making all accommodations for us even during the busy summer season. Cozy & comfortable

Loved the quiet and private location while still being walking distance to the beach and a general store. Short car ride to great restaurants and downtown. The cottage was updated and bright with many amenities. We loved waking up the the marsh views every morning and the place was clean and comfortable for our infant daughter to crawl around in.

Beautiful place to stay

We completely enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were perfect. Clean and every detail was perfect. The house has everything you could ever think of needing. Comfortable furniture and lovely bed and bedding. The best was being able to walk down to the beach and walk along the shore. It was so easy and beautiful. The perfect get away - relaxing and peaceful.

Heaven on Earth

Very well designed, provisioned, and cleaned with minor non material deferred maintenance issues. The wildlife jumps alive before you in the marsh vistas. Within a short walk to the beach with a convenient hop to groceries, sea food, and other. It’s well organized with great appliances: fridge, dishwasher. Washer /dryer.It’s a tad over pillowed and meant for a couple who really get on. It’s compact and small. I’d revisit if they will have me. Best.

Magnificent on the Marsh

This property is exactly as pictured in the listing. Incredibly charming cottage that is very well equipped. There is a short walk along the marsh to the GRB General Store and the beach. We LOVED the location of this property. Out of the hustle and bustle of Kennebunkport proper (the traffic there 😱) but close enough to dine in Cape Porpoise, Kennebunkport, Kennebunk, and other areas. One of the best VRBOs we’ve stayed in. Highly recommend.

The nautical theme throughout this cabin is creative and fun. Its space is thoughtfully designed and constructed. ( oar’s for door handles, the tile on the wall in kitchen, cleat’s for handles on cabinets) You can walk, or ride bike (that’s provided for you to use) to the beach. Friendly neighbors are just part of the charm of this cottage.

Birthday getaway

January getaway for my birthday. The food was great and enjoyed the cold, snowy weather which was by design. Flew in from AZ for a birthday weekend hoping for cold and snow and Maine delivered. From New England originally, I was tired of the constant sunshine in Arizona. So book this trip hoping for exactly what it delivered. The place is adorable, exactly how it looks in the pictures. However, my only complaint was I did not get any warm water. My showers were cold and I had to limit them to under three minutes or the water turned ice cold. Other than that, the place was just adorable as can be!

Amazing property minutes from the beach

My husband and our two sons ages 13 and 10, stayed at this jewel of a property just off goose rocks beach. We were there for a week and it was the perfect little house for our family vacation. The boys used the outdoor shower, and the boogie boards. We brought our own bikes because we’re a family of four but bikes were provided for two. You can walk to the beach, which is five minutes down the road, but we chose to bike all our things. It’s perfectly located to drive into Kennebunkport to shop around and to go to all the fabulous restaurants. The single bedroom was perfect for a 10-year-old. My husband and I had the main bedroom and our 13-year-old slept on the pullout couch. After a few nights, I traded with him and slept on the pullout couch myself. It was beautiful to wake up to the marsh every morning! Every square inch was carefully thought out and is totally functional for a family of four. We super appreciated the thoughtfulness of the owners as they were available to answer questions through texting and replied promptly. We will be coming back for additional stays as we loved it so much.
