I paid in full, on time. My reservation was confirmed. I arrived in Philadelphia with no further communication from the owner. I had to scramble to find another place to stay. Beware.

Great place, great location, great host! Provided detailed notes, communicated regularly, provided all necessities and was generous with extras, and even reached out to offer a later checkout because there wasn't a booking after me.

Great stay in a great neighborhood

Randy's spot was clean and cozy with everything we needed. The location was central to so many things. We were able to walk almost everywhere including a few restaurants recommended by Randy. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Terrific place

This was a great spot for our stay. We could walk to lots of restaurants, groceries, sights and transportation options. Randy was very responsive. Delightful place.

Unfortunately leaving zero stars is not an option. Host was very responsive when I initially booked, however he was incommunicado the day we arrived at his place to give us the entry code. He never responded to messages through the VRBO app or texts sent to his phone number; and when I called the number it went to a generic voice mail and a full mailbox. Completely ghosted!I booked this property 3 months ago, before the last review from a month ago when he did this to another guest as well.I am extremely disappointed that VRBO was aware that he left other guests stranded, and when he did it to us (on a weekend that both NHL and NBA playoff games were in Philly) VRBO would not offer me a credit to book other accommodations, The only option I was given to rectify this situation was a refund in 7-10 business days and 1 night hotel stay in the same area for no more than 330. We couldn’t find a single hotel room Thursday night in that area for that cost!I am beyond disgusted that this host had done the exact same thing just one month prior to another guest and the host was allowed to keep my booking, and I wasn’t immediately notified and given the option of canceling my reservation to prevent another guest from being stranded without a place to stay and when I contacted VRBO their solutions only involved me spending even more money to book another reservation.

Fantastic!

This is truly a unique, quiet oasis in the heart of a beautiful city. My husband and I loved our week at Randy’s Cozy Pad and exploring on foot the vibrant neighborhoods near the Italian Market, South Street and Independence Hall. The house is charming, comfortable, and beautifully updated. Randy provides all the necessities and more, such as coffee and tea for the whole week and lovely soaps, shampoos and lotions. Check in was a snap. Be sure to enjoy the private roof patio off the top floor bedroom. Randy’s Cozy Pad is five-star!
