From our 2 bedroom accommodation your family will be close to everything. Located literally on the Malecon. You open the front door and there are shops, restaurants, bars , nightclubs, museums, street performers, the best view of spectacular sunsets, nightly firework show, and best of all, a beach only 50 steps away.

The apartment is located on the North end of the Malecon. You can walk the Malecon to Romantica in 7-10 minutes depending on your pace.

THE SPACE:
The apartment is 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. Each room has a new king size bed. There is a full kitchen if you like to cook.

There is AC in the living room, dinning area and kitchen. There is no AC in the bedrooms but there are stand up floor fans that are bed hight in each room.

GUEST ACCESS:
The apartment entrance is on the Malecon. There are only 4 units and ours is the one on the 4th floor. There is an electronic locked door to gain access to the building. There is no elevator so you do have to walk up to the 4th floor.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
If you don't like the sound of the ocean this vacation rental is not for you. Also on the weekends it can be somewhat loud in the evenings as there are sometimes street parades that you can view from the balcony. Occasionally, there are street performers or a band in the neighboring businesses. If you are looking for a quite place we would not recommend this location.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
5 de Diciembre is a great place to stay if you want to experience a more authentic Puerto Vallarta than the Romantic Zone and is a popular home base for digital nomads. Plus, it’s just a short 10 peso bus ride there if you want to go out on the town.

This neighborhood may not be huge, but it packs a punch. There’s a lovely beach, a bustling market, and a beautiful church with a large square. You’ll also find some of the best taco trucks, restaurants, and bars in town.

GETTING AROUND:
With the Malecon right in front of the house it is an easy walk in either direction to most popular spots. There are taxis one block over in each direction from the house as well.
