Another great getaway

As before, this condo unit met all our needs and the staff (front desk, cleaning, grounds, maintenance) are just SO nice and helpful and friendly.Our unit did experience a bit of 'upheaval' as, before we arrived, it had been determined there was a water leak somewhere in the kitchen, so the maintenance guys had to come, open up holes in the wall and the kitchen floor, remove tile, concrete, bricks and pipe. Then they did figure out the problem, and put in a new pipe and the day we were leaving they were in to repair the wall and floor, and put the appliances back. They worked so hard, and we are always gone pretty much all day so it didn't matter. The only thing was that there was no sense having the cleaner in while the work was going on because the layer of dust would have just come back, and it WAS dusty. The dishwasher was not able to be used, which was fine - we did dishes by hand - and the fridge was moved to the living room side of the eating counter, and a board was put over the holes in the kitchen floor so no one would break an ankle! But nothing was insurmountable, and there were loads of good things about Puesto Del Sol and this unit - all the amenities we needed, nice view, comfy bed, great shower, lots of closet space. Plus Evolve and the owner worked together and reimbursed us three days of the rental cost, so that was nice.

Another fantastic week in Puerto Vallarta. The only complaint is amount of stairs in the complex, hard if you have mobility issues.

Tranquil Escape

On a previous visit to PV we had stayed at Condominiums Puesta del Sol and loved it for its secluded lush natural setting just a few blocks above the Malecon. So we were excited to find Vincent's condo available for our October stay. The condo is chic and modern with a decor in muted blue/grey tones. It has updated appliances, a washer-dryer unit, and even a a toilet seat bidet. Possibly the best amenity of all is a consistently hot shower from the second you turn it on! So no wasting of water while waiting for a desired temperature. The outdoor patio hs a nice sectional sofa and is a perfect place to read, relax, and enjoy a view of the ocean. The walk down to the Malecon via the terraced staircase built into the hill can be challenging, but because it zig-zags, it's easy to pause and rest. Or, just call an Uber. The rates in Mexico are excellent. A detailed information sheet is provided with all you need to know about the unit, but should you have have any concerns or questions about anything, the owner, Vincent, is very easy to reach by e-mail, or phone. And he responds very quickly. We had a lovely two-week stay and would recommend to others.

Perfect for 2 in the heart of the old town area!

The condo was perfect, the community pool was lovely and the onsite staff were phenomenal! They were incredibly kind and available at all hours of the day with overnight security at the front desk. They offer water bottles and large jugs of water for purchase (very cheap) at the office. The owner/guest contact Vincent was also great! He was so kind and helpful and responded immediately via text. He gave us an awesome rooftop restaurant recc Barcelona that is just a few blocks from the condo and it was one of our best meals of the trip! Quite a few stairs coming and going from the condo itself and the property is a BIG uphill walk from the town/water. Definitely not for the faint of heart but it helped balance out all the delicious food we were consuming. :)

Truly enjoyed my stay

I stayed 2 weeks at this condo and truly enjoyed the time I spent there. It is a relatively small condo (one bedroom) yet nicely decorated, comfortable and has everything you need (all appliances, comfortable bed, hot shower, etc.). I never was bothered by noise. It is located in a gated community so I always felt safe; the staff is friendly and helpful. The pool area and the landscape are well kept with beautiful trees and flowers. There is a partial view of the ocean from the terrace, from where I could also see the fireworks every evening. The condo was perfectly located for me: close to the school I was attending as well as to many restaurants, the Malecon and the ocean. I did find at times going up the stairs from the Malecon a bit strenuous but a good exercise. The owner, Vincent, was always available and prompt to answer my enquiries. The perfect place for me.

Condo has it all

We stayed at this condo for two weeks, and it was an excellent stay. We were aware of the location and knew that a person needed to be able to walk up and down stairs to get to the units, pool, etc. (The condo development itself is above the main streets and Malecon, so downhilll/uphill walking to get places is necessary, unless one is going to take a taxi each time. We walked - great exercise.) This unit is on the lower level with a reasonably good view of water in the distance. It had good closet and drawer space, a well-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer combo, and a dishwasher - all of which we used and they all worked well. The 'Firestick' for the TV was nice to have, because we could watch some Netflix in the evenings if we wanted to. We used the ceiling fans and could have used the a/c but the fans and opening a window was enough. We had housecleaning once a week, but one could arrange a different number of times with the front desk if desired. Nice outside patio, comfortable furniture indoors. Friendly admin staff and very secure with locked gate at all times. Being able to buy water at the front desk was a bonus. We would certainly recommend this place.

Nice Property, Great Location

This complex is beautiful with lots of lush vegetation and is situated close to the Malecon with a nice view of the Bay. The unit itself is a good size and has all essentials included. We were pleased to find a tap in the kitchen that provided filtered water for coffee, drinking water, and brushing our teeth. The Condo office staff and our Evolve host were very responsive.

Another day in Paradise

Laying around in the shade on a chase lounger around the pool is paradise to me! The outdoor patio with our unit was a great place to wind down after walking the hills of PV. Great restaurants nearby, plenty of sunshine and close to town, what more could we ask for. Nice unit, I’d stay again.

Humming birds

One of the best hot strong showers in PVR, and who doesn’t enjoy a bidet. Fairly large complex at top of the nicest stairs in town. But tucked on the west side makes this unit feel very private. Front desk and staff are awesome.

Relaxing stay

Great stay!

The unit was clean and located in a really cute gated community. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Our guest contact was so nice and quick to respond to our questions which was really helpful! The pool area was relaxing and inviting. I will say that it is on top of the hill and there are a lot of stairs to climb or the steep hill to walk BUT it was nice to get a little workout in. Plus, getting an Uber was super easy and cheap to get down to the waterfront area or other parts of town. Very cute and delicious restaurants in walking distance. It was pretty warm during our stay and the AC unit was awesome and worked really well cooling us down. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

Mixed Thoughts

This was our 5th visit to Puerto Vallarta and first time at this property. We understood the geography, and were prepared for the hillside location, and 14 days of trekking. The condo complex was amazing with elevated views of the bay and evening sunsets. The pool, the gardens, the staff were excellent and other guests and owners were friendly and welcoming. Our unit was a little bit of a disappointment! The minimal furnishings and lack of ambience felt uninviting. Wi-Fi was unreliable and we had to trade batteries between remotes. Although a combination washer/dryer was included, the capacity was tiny and literally took 7 hours for a single small load! Basic operational instructions for ice maker, coffee maker, television, etc were incomplete or not available. We tried calling the owner for assistance, and left a message but did not receive a call back. We thoroughly enjoyed Puerto Vallarta and will return in the future. We will definitely consider staying at Puesta del Sol again, but will search for a different unit.

Wonderful Condo nestled in the Hillside above Zona Romantica in P.V.

The place was just perfect for my wife and I to spend a week enjoying the delicious food along with the sights and sounds of Puerto Vallarta, and the boardwalk of Zona Romantica within walking distance. The weather was absolutely perfect with a cool ocean breeze from morning till night. The staff at the front desk of this gated community were wonderful helping to schedule transportation and provide directions to local markets. We enjoyed socializing with other residents at the pool, and even got the name of a realtor so we could look into the possibility of purchasing a condo in this very prized complex. This unit is remodeled with a fabulous bathroom and shower, lots of space for our clothes and a fully appointed kitchen where we made many a delicious breakfasts. Definitely keeping this vacation getaway condo on our favorites list!

Stairway to Heaven

What a beautiful property. Quaint buildings amongst beautiful foliage. The check in/check out process was simple! It was fun to stay downtown for the last few days of our stay. The location was very convenient. Lots of stairs to get to and from the property but totally worth it. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Hasta luego!

The unit was very clean, comfortable, and had easy access to the beach and waterfront area. The pool was very clean and property staff were very friendly. The only negative remark was that the smart TV applications were unable to the internet even though WIFI was operating. Not a huge deal in the end as the patio with a nice view provided great entertainment.

Beautiful grounds

Loveld the lush gardens throughout the place. Unit was well outfitted as described, even some nice surprises. Could use a dish drying rack. Pool tended to be a bit crowded in the afternoons, a bit cliquey if you’re in to that sort of thing, but pool was heated and refreshing.

Location was great walking up the 100 plus steps is a challenge for older people but you could always take the road.surrounding was great with all the foliage, security and pool. Will be back
