The Tow Path house is a 2 bedroom 1 & 1/2 Bathroom, On The Delaware and Raritan Canal state park tow path, only a few block walk to Main Street Lambertville. You can enjoy the front porch swing bench and watch the people and ducks on the canal or the private fenced in back yard with an out door dining table. you can also enjoy the view of the canal from a private second floor screened in porch. 1850’s era home into a comfortable and fun place to enjoy while visiting the Lambertville and New Hope areas. This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit.

LOCATION! We enjoyed walking the canal to town and New Hope. Visiting the "boat house" for a cocktail is a must. House is historic so things like floors show it. (We like that). Downstairs can be chilly in winter but bedrooms are cozy upstairs. (steep steps, as they were in the 1800s). We had a fantastic weekend and had everything we needed including the kitchen supplies. Thank you!

Rooms were very clean, beds were very comfortable, kitchen clean with all the necessary items. The individual ac/htg units in every room is a wonderful idea. I had contacted the host prior to stay and had a response to my question within an hour.

Beautiful location!

This lovely little historic home, situated on the Canal Tow Path, is clean, well-stocked, and charming. Plus you never need a car- walk 1/2 block into Lambertville AT THE BRIDGE. The owners are friendly and helpful. Be ADVISED: *as already noted - the STAIRS are difficult for small children and the elderly.

Great location, comfortable stay

We really enjoyed our stay along the towpath. The house was clean and well stocked, and it was nice to be greeted by the ducks in the canal each time we took the short walk to Lambertville. The bridge to New Hope was out of service while we were there, which was too bad, but it sounds like it won’t be closed for long.

Great Location!

This was a great apt for me and my wife to stay for the weekend. The location was perfect, easy walking distance alongside the D&R Canal to Lambertville and the bridge to New Hope. All the amenities seem like they were recently renovated, it had everything we needed, and the owner was very responsive when I had a question about something.

The Perfect Nearcation

Elliot’s cozy and charming home was the most inviting place to be for a temporary escape from the city. With a window view of a raft of ducks on the canal, the morning and evening strolls along the water, I’ll be very much be looking forward to the next one.

Perfect location

Lovely historic home just a short walk on the towpath to the Lambertville downtown area. We parked our car at the house and never needed it for the rest of our visit. Enjoyed biking on the towpath to Washington's Crossing and learning the history there. Elliot was very responsive to any inquiries or questions I had. Would stay here again.

Perfect girls get together place

Two friends stayed here. A local friend is near by. It worked out great for us. Everything is what other reviewers have mentioned. The host is very responsive. All in all it truly deserves 5 stars.
