We loved the history of the home, the beams and historic features make the property unique, but the updates make it modern day functional. We had 2 families for a small family reunion, 8 people total, and plenty of space for everyone. One of the rooms is in a detached building with a bathroom and shower, giving space to those who may want some quiet time.One thing to note - if you are tall (like 6 feet or taller) you will need to watch your head in the door frames that are part of the original house - they are low so don't forget to duck!The pool is great, with a diving board and deep end. We spent a lot of time enjoying the sun and family time in the pool with the serene greenery around us and the birds and nature.The kitchen is fully stocked and there is a gas stove, oven and good size barbecue. We would absolutely stay in this property again. Jake was immediately responsive if we had to reach out and the kids loved seeing/feeding the koi in the pond.
