2ベッドルームコテージ（クイーンベッド1台、シングル2つ）、設備の整ったキッチン、幼児用椅子（シャワー付）、日陰の日陰のピクニックテーブル、アカディアトレイルのフレンド、フレンドリードッグへの直接アクセス許可されます。 山のすべての側面の中心。砂漠の島とアカディア国立公園。 施設内の洗濯機/乾燥機へのアクセス。 非常に静かでプライベートな場所。 100ヤード先のコテージから家を建てるまで、私たちは3年間このコテージに住んでいました。 バーハーバーには、山岳登山、ボート乗り、サイクリング、海岸沿いのハイキングなど、子供や大人のための活動がすべてあります。 海洋水族館、ミニゴルフ、小さなウォーターパークまで車で20分以内です。

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! It was our first time exploring the island so we weren't sure about the location but it worked out perfectly as our home base to explore. The cottage was extremely clean and my kids enjoyed the books and games. We hope to return someday!

Our family of 4 enjoyed Philip and Astri's lovely property. The cottage is in a convenient location and has all of the necessities for a relaxing vacation! The kitchen was well appointed. We loved being able to refill water bottles from the tap. Also, we liked having a washer and dryer. Internet access was good. The beds were comfortable for my kids. The queen bed is firm, good for my husband, I prefer a little softer mattress, but there were ample pillows and blankets to help. We were happy to have a place to store our bikes. My husband was able to access the carriage trails and the road to Cadillac mountain on his bicycle (He is an avid biker). To ride with the kids we loaded up the bikes and accessed the carriage trails from the Eagle Lake access point (only minutes away!) Small parking lot, lots of roadside parking. Highly recommend the Carriage Roads pocket guide sold at the Acadia visitor center. My kids enjoyed the foosball table and the fire pit. We roasted marshmallows and sat by the fire one night. We had a full, fun week with trips to Bar Harbor, a whale watching trip, a trip to Bass Harbor Lighthouse, Lobster rolls at the Travelin' Lobster, lots of hiking/biking and fun activities with the junior ranger program (highly recommend). The cottage was a great home base for all of our activities! Thank you!!

Perfect oasis for relaxing

This cottage was close to exactly what we wanted to do…bike and hike. It was also secluded enough when we were done for the day, we could relax and enjoy the quiet and pristine area. What a fantastic cottage

Best cottage ever

Beautiful and well kept 2 bedroom cottage in a private garden. Fully equipped kitchen. Separate laundry room. Tables and chairs outside. It feels more like your own house than a rental:) Gracious hosts live nearby so the communication is very easy and fast. Only minutes to Eagle lake and carriage roads. Super easy access to Bar Harbor, Loop Road, hiking trails. You will need a car to get there.

Ideal Location

You couldn't find a better location on MDI. It's 10 minutes from just about everything. Super clean. Great hosts. Can't wait to come back next year.

MDI Central Location

Stayed here last year so this year was a repeat because we loved it so much. Great location in middle of MDI providing easy access to Acadia NP, Trails, carriage roads & Bar Harbor. The owners who live nearby were very helpful with whatever we needed. The place is in the forest at the end of a long driveway. It is well appointed with everything we needed for a relaxing & comfortable stay.

Wonderful place to stay

Great location

Great location, very close to Bar Harbor, Arcadia national park, and the “quite side” which we gravitated t. Owners very nice, we enjoyed our stay and had a great time and loved the cabin.

Acadia delight

Our stay for 8 days could not have been better. The cottage is centrally located in the middle of MDI which provided easy access to the Park & Bar Harbor. It is at the end of a long driveway in the woods so is quiet, peaceful & away from tourism chaos. The cottage is beautifully appointed & very comfortable.

Exceeded Expectations

Acadia Access Cottage exceeded our expectations! It was the perfect home away from home during our stay on MDI. We appreciated the spacious living area with wonderful wooded view, the well equipped kitchen & the comfortable beds. The generous collection of reading material was perfect for rainy days. The secluded, peaceful location was the topper! Yet close to everything we came to do. What a place! Philip is an excellent host - always helpful & available. One of the best rentals we’ve ever experienced.

We loved it

My wife and I stayed at this cottage as newly-weds. We felt so well taken care of by Philip and Astri. It is a beautiful property only a few hundred yards from Acadia National Park. We were just a short drive from Bar Harbor, Cadillac Mountain, Jordan Pond, and just about anything else on the island. We especially enjoyed having a full kitchen. Thank you to our hosts!

Amazing!

My husband and I rented the Acadia Access Cottage for our honeymoon. The cottage was very clean and had pretty much anything you would need. It’s location is perfect! It is very secluded but within a 10 minute drive to down town Bar Harbor. It is also right down the road from an Acadia Park loop entrance. The hosts, Philip and Astri, live next to the cottage and let us know that if we needed anything that they are available. We had no problems during our stay. We highly recommend this cottage for couples or small families. It is the perfect Bar Harbor/Acadia getaway. We hope to return to it soon.

Excellent vacation spot

I loved this cottage. It was sunny inside all day and the inside was beautiful. It was quiet but close to all Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park have to offer. The hosts were wonderful. I felt very safe even though I was travelling alone. I'd give this rental 5+ points.

Lovely cottage, close to everything

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. It was very clean, and tucked away in the woods, but minutes from Acadia and Bar Harbor. We would definitely recommend it to our friends.

Wonderful all around

The owners were helpful and friendly, their home was just the right size and had every amenity we needed. The highlights were the wonderful washer and dryer and shelves full of books! There were movies for the day it rained, an amazing vegetable garden of Astri's, which we visited and a foosball and a ping pong table on the lower level. The trail behind their house connects toman Acadia NP trail and was civered in bkyeberries, moss, ferns and magnificent trees of all kinds. It was a great plave to call home for a week and very conveniently located.

After having lived for 28 years in Maine we realized that Mount Desert Island was the place we loved most to be. Prior to moving to China for 3 years we purchased this property of 38 acres in the heart of Mt.Desert Island with the intent to return to live in this beautiful location. We built an apartment above an existing garage (Acadia Access Cottage). When we returned 3 years ago we moved into the cottage and enjoyed living in it for 3 years. In the Fall of 2013, we completed a new home on the property, 100 yards away and quite secluded from the garage/cottage.

We love the access to carriage roads, Echo Lake, Somes Sound, mountain hiking, Bar Harbor, and walking on our own property with a brook, small waterfall and direct access to Acadia Ridge Trail. We have close access to all that the island has to offer and enjoy the tranquility that surrounds us every day.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Centrally located. Covered outdoor ping pong table for adults and supervised young adults with possibility of challenging owner.

We do accept well behaved dogs but do ask that they either stay in a crate when owners are not with them in the cottage or you let us know that they are safe without a crate and will not cause any damage. We do ask for a $50 per pet charge to be paid upon arrival for the additional cleaning that is needed.
