Overall our stay was fantastic!! Quick response when our code failed for the door. Walking distance to many areas including the ocean. Would definitely stay again!!

There was a key code situation that never got resolved. We had to Leave the door unlocked cause we thought if it locked we would be out on the street for the night. Pool was good. Price cheap but the key thing a real problem. Not fancy for sure

Location was perfect, after adventuring around the island each day we would come back to the condo and walked 5 min or so to a bunch of yummy restaurants nearby to watch the sunset from the balconys of the restaurants. The bed was a little uncomfortable, couod def use a topper on the bed or something and couod not find a hair dryer if there was one. Other than that it had everything you would need to go to the beach or make a little food there.

You are always a little nervous but this place checked all the boxes. Perfect place for my wife and I. Walking distance to everything in Kona. Will stay there again.

Great location, clean property, nice and responsive owners and good property management!

This Condo is in a fantastic location in easy walking distance to beach and to stores and restaurants. It is well managed with a nice general pool, whirlpool and very clean gas grills. The Condo is small, but very functional and well stacked with all necessities - just perfect for a couple. We would love to book it again on our next visit there. It was a great vacation!

Lovely Property in a Great Location!

We loved our stay here! The location is ideal for visiting town and adventuring out. The room was clean & tidy, with air conditioning and a delightful balcony overlooking the pool. The hosts provided all the beach equipment you might need, and info on the best spots to visit while you stay. Access to the grills by the pool was easy. I have to mention the great water pressure in the shower too. We didn't want to leave! Thank you!

Thank you for sharing - your condo worked well for us

My husband & I stayed for a week and the small but clean condo in a great location worked well for us. I like to cook; so it I were staying longer, it would have been less convenient with the limited kitchen. But the folks at Islander Inn were great; and the place clean and well maintained. We were there for the tsunami evacuation; the staff were very capable and made the evacuation process as easy as possible.

Thanks for a great review. The electronic key fob in the lockbox is for back-up. Receptiuon issues up to 2 key cards to our guests when they check in. We loved having you stay at our Hawaii condo where our condo is totally yours to use. You are welcome back anytime.

Kona vacation

The location and the surrondings was nice. Easy to access the shore. The only problem was the small bugs all around the place. There was some maintenance during our stay, so we didn't have water for a day. I understand its not the property's fault, but it was a bit disturbing.

Beautiful condo in a lovely setting!

This is a very quaint and well managed condo in a friendly and relaxed older plantation style condo with lots of trees and flowering plants. It has a lovely lanai overlooking the pool area. The condo was very clean and well stocked with everything one might need. Within walking distance to the pier, a nice swimming and snorkeling area as well as all of the shops and restaurants. Very friendly and safe area. My son and I loved staying there and hope to visit again! Thank You! Holly and Aaron

Perfect landing spot

This was a perfect little place for two to use as a home base. Walkable distance to all kinds of shopping--from great tourist shops, to farmer's market, to your usual grocery and coffee shops and restaurants. So easy to walk to Hulihe'e Palace and beach overlook at Hale Halawai Park. The hosts even have beach chairs available! Not a lot of parking spaces available at the condo. One night we had to park on the street--but we didn't have any problems.

We were in Hawaii to celebrate our 28th year of marriage. The bed was good enough to wake up feeling rested, but not a bed I could stay in for more than 8 hours. Great condo, great location!

I spent three weeks in the condo. There was everything I needed to live and work. I hooked the TV up to my laptop to make a giant monitor for it. The wifi was a bit spotty, but I understand it has been updated since then. The location is great - only a few minutes from everything in Kona including the market and the library. By the way you can get a three month library card for $10 at the library. It is good anywhere in the state of Hawaii.

Thanks for selecting condo #216 for your 2012 stay. The WiFi signal from the lobby is weak due to usage by other guests in the lobby. So Sharon and I installed our own private in-condo high-speed internet router with coverage extending out to the pool, hot tub and BBQ areas. This private signal allows Skype and Viber to work great too! We have also added free long-distance phone calls to USA and Canada using our condo's phone. With the library just around the corner, it is a great place for readers to browse and researchers to peruse Hawaiian artifacts and documents. Aloha! Ernie, Sharon and Sandra
