This house did fit my big family. However, everything is else was not great. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The downstairs bathroom was pretty unusable (the sink was leaking/whistling and the water did not heat up or drain properly). We all had to use the upstairs restroom which did impact our timing for the trip. As we were washing dishes in the sink one night the kitchen flooded from the dishwasher (that we were not using at all) and we had to use all the towels in the house. That leak started another leak in the basement. This was extremely annoying to deal with on vacation and we had a couple of maintenance workers come in to try to fix it but nothing ended up being fixed. Also, we were a big family and cooked at home some of the nights which led to a lot of trash. This was frustrating because we tried to take out all the trash but it was over filled outside. There was not a “game room” situation or really any entertainment given that we could not find the upstairs remote for the TV. The backyard had several dead birds and they had to be moved to the side before our children got into them. Our final day we got a message from the owner that the maintenance people were coming and after a few hours (10pm) they did not show up and when I messaged to check in they said they could come at that point. We had a early morning flight and were not going to be up for much longer that night so we asked them to not come until we check out today. I was severely disappointed.

We were unaware that the dishwasher would malfunction during your stay. The appliance was only two years old, and as soon as we became aware of the issue, I purchased and installed a new dishwasher. You reported the problem at 7:19 PM, and despite the late hour, I immediately arranged for a maintenance technician to come and inspect it. Regarding the birds, it is nesting season in Denver, and it appears that some birds may have fallen from a nearby nest. When I inspected the backyard prior to your arrival, I did not observe any dead birds or any related concerns. We strive to address any issues as quickly as possible and appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention.

Good VRBO with great location

Overall, our stay at this property was good. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is perfectly laid out for a family/friend vacation. The hosts were very friendly and the home pretty much has everything you would need. Two things about the property that were not ideal was the cleanliness level (bathrooms and floors - everything else was very clean) and the constant thudding sound of the air vent/fan (we think that's what it was). If these two things can be addressed, I'd give it five stars. We'd stay here again.

Weekend graduation trip

Location was close to where we wanted to be but the neighborhood is sketchy. House next door has a broken down RV parked. The back yard is ok for a dog but not inviting to sit out there. The house was clean and comfortable but despite the upgrades it was old and creaky.
