Lovely Mountain Home, Family-Friendly, Walk to Resort & Activities

This family-friendly 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom mountain home is located right on the slopes. Just a short 0.4-mile walk to the Wintergreen Mountain Inn and Market, this three-story retreat is perfect for families, friend groups, that want the ultimate retreat.

The master bedroom features a king bed with a private bath. Two additional bedrooms offer queen beds—one with an en-suite bath and the other with a full bath across the hall. The lower level includes a cozy second den—perfect for kids—with two sets of twin bunk beds and its own full bath with shower.

Whip up meals in the fully equipped kitchen, or head over to the resort and grab a bite at The Edge, The Copper Mine, or Upper Crust. We have parking for two vehicles at the house and additional vehicles can be parked at the Outlook around the corner or over at the resort for no charge.

Three story house with 1 King Bed, 2 Queen Beds, and 4 Twin Beds (bunks), 4 Full Bathrooms. Parking for two vehicles with more public parking nearby.

Great host, and this place was exceptional. Comfy beds, lots of space, and being able to walk out, strap in, and hit Upper Tyro made it perfect. Every small detail is taken care of, kitchen had everything you need, waking up to a beautiful sunrise over the mountains, judging wipeouts/tricks next to the fire… perfect. Will definitely try to book again in the future.

Fabulous home !

This cozy home is in a great location with true ski in/ski out ! It was extremely comfortable and perfect for hopping on and off the slopes. We hope to visit again next year !

Cozy retreat

This was such an amazing stay, the area is beautiful and the house was clean and very well accommodating. We even woke up with deer outside of the window. The host was very responsive and friendly. Truly wouldn’t change anything about this visit!

Awesome time on Tyro

We stayed at this house while my son attended Adventure Amputee Camp with Wintergreen Adaptive Sports. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything you could want. We enjoyed being able to watch my son ski down the slope right outside our living room window! I have nothing negative to say about this place- would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

A breath of fresh air

The view, the host, the house—what a great time. We brought our 3 boys and 2 of their friends for a last-minute winter getaway. And what a great time we had. Lots of great memories. Skiing right out the back door and onto the slope isn’t bad either 😀. And the house was just great. Everything we expected and more! We will definitely be back!!

Perfect house for our families

This house was exactly as described on VRBO and was perfect for our group of 10 (2 families of 5). We had high school and college age kids and 2 sets of parents. The house has everything we needed/wanted and more. The kitchen was great and allowed us to cook all meals at the house. We really enjoyed the family room with fireplace. The first floor changing area with washer/dryer was perfect for taking off wet ski clothes and going straight to washer without getting things wet. We would definitely return if back at Wintergreen. Hosts were extremely responsive.
