Ocean Star Beach Front Cottage

Ocean Star is our smallest cottage with two bedrooms available to accommodate up to 4 guests. This cottage is located behind The Pub and over the beach, it offers ocean views in a central location.
The cottage has a living room overlooking the ocean, eat in kitchen, and a bathroom with a stall shower. There are two bedrooms, each with a full sized bed. The cottage has decks on the south and east sides of the cottage which overlook the ocean and the beach below.

Located in the heart of Matunuck, behind The Pub and right on the beach. Surrounded by local businesses including two bar/restaurants and across the street from a pizza place and surf shop, ice cream shop and market just down the road.

Please note that we ask our guests to provide their own linens - this includes sheets, quilts and towels.
If you require linens we are happy to provide them at an additional fee.

Parking is provided for up to two vehicles at a rate of $10/day per vehicle.

LINENS

Guests staying at the cottage are asked to provide their own linens, including:
Beach Towels
Bath Towels
Hand/Kitchen Towels
Bedding - sheets & blankets (the house has two full sized beds)


PAPER PRODUCTS & MORE

Guests are asked to provide their own paper & plastic products. While we are happy to provide a starter pack (1 or 2 of each item) we do not supply enough for the full stay.

Toilet Paper (septic safe please!)
Trash bags
Dish soap/sponge

PARKING
We supply off street parking spaces for an additional fee, here are the details :
$10 per car per day or $70 for a full week
Maximum number of two passes can be purchased for your stay.
Please note that any additional vehicles would be your responsibility. Street parking is available however can be limited, especially during the summer.

THE PUB & THE BEACH

Our neighbor The Pub has great food, wonderful drinks and a friendly staff. We have a great relationship with them and we need your help to keep it that way! Please keep in mind that while The Pub is our neighbor the staff cannot answer questions regarding the cottages, therefore please call Point Break Cottages directly regarding your check-in and your stay.
The beach in front of the cottages is not a private beach. There are other homes on the beach who utilize it besides our cottages.

Beautiful cottage on the sea. A perfect little getaway. Everything was just wonderful. All the little decorations were just so fitting. Well done. Live plants and no tv were an absolute favorite of mine. The restaurants were so very good and convenient. We had the best time.

Girls vacation---location, location, location!

Emily was a good host--she answered all of my questions in a timely manner. Parking was an issue--Emily felt that because we were there during the week and not the weekend, we would have no problem with parking but she was incorrect so my advice would be to ask for paid parking upfront. The cottage was very cute. Beds were very comfortable and location o the beach cannot be beat. The walls are very thin and you are literally next to a pub and another bar which stay open late so if you are a heavy sleeper, you'll be fine. On the plus side, the ocean waves are just as loud because you are so close! There is no TV, dishwasher or AC but there were fans. The bathroom shower water pressure and temperature was excellent--high pressure, nice hot water. The stall itself is small, not a lot off room. If someone renting this unit is large/obese, they may have a hard time fitting on the toilet as it is very close to the sink and low and navigating the shower stall, but we were fine! Balcony overlooks a rocky beach but the town beach is a half mile down the road (easy walk) with a small playground and concession. If you are looking for a beach trip, I would definitely recommend this!

Short but Sweet Stay

Quaint, cozy rustic beach cottage just perfect for our needs. Pictures don’t do it justice - very sweetly decorated. Loved hearing lapping waves 24/7. Easy in and out - great communication with Emily.
