The Ultimate Getaway in the Mountains !
The location couldn't be better to explore the High Country !!
Skiing, Snow tubing, Restaurants, Wineries, Shopping within a 15 minute drive.
The quaint little town of Banner Elk is 15 minutes away, Boone is only 20. Grandfather Winery is 5 minutes down the mountain.
Stay on site to explore the forest & waterfall with the adjacent Otter Falls Trail. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy a 10 minute hike to the Water Falls.
Ours is a true log cabin with central A/C and offering 2500 sq ft on three levels with three decks to spot deer, turkeys, fox.......
The master suite is conveniently located on the main level with a jetted tub in the Master bath and separate Shower. The kitchen Inspires...... with granite counter tops and stainless appliances, open to the dining and living room and perfect for entertaining.
The deck off the kitchen looks out over the back of the property with no other house in site. Grill your dinner with the convenience of being directly off the kitchen.
Watch for early morning Turkeys while you sip freshly ground coffee on the porch swing as the sun comes up....Our personal Favorite !
The living room is nicely decorated in Leather furniture with Mountain accents. Reminisce in front of the gas fireplace with a book and one of our 'oldies' but goodies records. There's a desk on the main level to check your emails and work, offering 100 mg, fibre optic internet.
The top level has 2 bedrooms, with one bathroom. The lowest level of Otter Falls has the Game Room, Laundry, and a separate Theater Room with Surround Sound and Theater Chairs. The game room is Abundant....... with a Pool Table, Foosball and TV & X Box gaming system, along with plenty of books, games, and puzzles.
Step out to the adjoining deck to soak under the stars in the New, 6 person, Hot Tub or laze under the trees in the Hammock. The perfect end to the day can be had in front of the Fire Pit, toasting S'mores or challenging the family to a outdoor game of Corn Hole.
Otter Falls Cabin is the perfect spot for creating lasting family memories with thoughts to return again and again.

Access to the Cabin is paved except for the last eighth of a mile, which is a gravel road.
Four wheel drive or chains may be required when there is ice and snow. Access may not be suitable for vehicles with low ground clearance.

Large and newer hot tub. Loved the touch of the warmth of coming in the cabin with a Christmas tree, since we were there over the holiday. I am sure it would be beautiful in the summer with all the flowers. Nice walk to the falls. Very convenient.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin in Seven Devils and would give it 10 stars if we could. The views were breathtaking, and the cabin itself was incredibly clean, cozy, and well cared for. It was the perfect spot for our family—our kids especially loved the theater room and the hot tub, and there was plenty of space for them to play and relax.One of our favorite features was the trail access right on the property that leads to a beautiful waterfall—it felt like a hidden gem and made our stay even more special. Everything about this cabin felt welcoming and comfortable, and it truly felt like a home away from home.Our kids loved it so much they didn’t want to leave, which says it all! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to families looking for a peaceful, memorable mountain getaway.

Private mountain cabin

Fantastic stay at this cozy mountain cabin , loved walking to otter falls and swimming right from the cabin. Hot tub, fire pit, pool table, fully stocked kitchen. Loved everything about this place!

We had a wonderful stay in Seven Devils. The home is close to Grandfather mountain and just down the hill is Grandfather winery. The home is just as advertised . We enjoyed being able to walk out the back to Otter fall trail. Lots of deer and wild turkeys . We would stay again. The owner if helpful with restaurant recommendations and things to do.

This place was fantastic and the owner was so sweet, even called to speak with us and let us know of fun things to do! That’s next level customer service. We were familiar with the area but for those who are not it’s super helpful I’m sure. The place decor is so comfortable and welcoming. Spacious for family of 5 or more. Lower level TV with tons of movies and games for the whole family. Deer seen almost daily from the yard. Hot tub was a nice evening wind down from a day of hiking right from the back yard onto the trails to the water fall. Fire pit area was great for the evening also with s’mores and comfy seating. We will book again.

Wonderful place to stay

Our family agrees that this is the best cabin we have stayed at in this area. Beautiful secluded area and a cabin with lots of amenities for the entire family. Really enjoyed the deck and the back yard area with the fire pit Wonderful host as well. Highly recommend this cabin for your next family getaway.

Christmas in the Mountains

Perfect for a family Christmas stay! First day had snow so we were able to sled in the yard. Nice walk to the creek and waterfalls behind the house. Very close to Boone and Banner Elk with lots to do while still being in the woods. Very happy with cabin. Nice fireplace, movie room, pool table and hot tub on the deck.

Great getaway

We loved our stay at the Otter Falls Cabin! Took the trail behind the house down to the falls. The movie and game rooms were a huge hit for our teenagers. Lots of thoughtful touches that made our trip special. Thanks so much!

Wonderful

We had such a great time staying here for a week. Well stocked with everything we needed. Loved the front porch with plenty of seating and such a nice breeze The children loved looking at all the wildlife and catching salamanders. Wish we could have stayed here all summer.

Great place to relax with family

We loved our time at this cabin. The amenities were very nice and we would definitely stay there again. There were just a few minor things that made it not quite a 5 star but if we could give it a 4.5 we would! We also loved the local area and hiking opportunities. It is absolutely a great place to stay with lots of things for everyone to do!

Beautiful cabin. Easy to get to but secluded.

Cabin is wonderful. Enjoyed our stay very much. The theater room was great for sitting together an watching Christmas movies. Enjoyed the game room a lot and so did the grandchildren. Fire pit was great, very relaxing. The walk to Otter Falls was a very good walk. They are beautiful. Would stay there again.

Fantastic Getaway

My family of 4 (me, husband, 14 yo daughter, 10 yo son) truly enjoyed this house! The location on the Otter Falls hiking trail was perfect-you walk right out the back door and in a few minutes you are dipping your toes into the cool water of Otter Falls! The games, pool table, theater room, hot tub all made for fun nights after our long days exploring. Would definitely recommend this house!!

Staying at Family's

We literally felt like we were staying at Family's. They have thought of everything! The house is decorated so beautifully. Its dog friendly which is fantastic and so close to everything. We love the Seven Devil's area. The house is nestled down in a private area over looking beauutiful preserves. Right near Otter Paws Trail, which was so convenient. Their outdoor firepit is one of the best I have ever seen. Susan, as your host is so attentive and caring! If you are looking for a family retreat I would highly suggest this property!!! Lori M

Wonderful

This is a wonderful house, exactly like the pics and descriptions. The backyard hiking trail to Otter Falls is a perfect way to start the morning. This is the best outfitted and labeled house we have stayed in. . .each kitchen cabinet and each light switch is clearly labeled so there is no fumbling around. There are three different porches to hang out on, and to watch the deer and fox wander by. We can't wait to come back next year!

Incredible Mountain Get-a-Way

This cabin is absolutely as advertised and detailed by the multiple reviews I read prior to our stay. The cabin is highly amenitized with hot tub, game room, theater room and three levels of overall space (2,500 SF) that made all our time there quite enjoyable. As well being right near the trails to Otter Falls gave us a built in adventure we didn't have to travel to. My three sons and wife thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we would like to come again. I love the area as well up the mountain in Seven Devils, you are both remote from other nearby residences while also close enough to other homes/communities that you feel safe with the location, you have privacy here but are not out in the sticks so to speak. Great stay and would recommend to anyone.
