Historic Downtown Orlando charm with modern amenities! Close to everything, Sweet Magnolia is a spacious, 1915 gem in the heart of Orlando proper. Featuring a fully stocked kitchen, 2.5 baths, 3 spacious bedrooms all with blackout curtains perfect for a good night’s sleep. An expansive living room with 10-foot ceilings, guests can while away the morning in the sun-drenched coffee nook, watch the world go by in the front sun room, or simply use the house as a convenient home base to enjoy all Orlando has to offer. Explore the neighborhood with a gorgeous stroll around Lake Cherokee. Here for a show or event? Leave the car parked at the house - the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center, the Kia Center and other prominent locals are just a few minutes walk from the home.
The home combines original character with modern updates. As with many historic properties, guests may notice architectural features and layouts that differ from newer construction.
The property is located near major roadways and expressways, providing convenient access to downtown Orlando, Winter Park, medical centers, sports venues, and surrounding neighborhoods. The nearby elevated 408 expressway is not visible from the property, and the home remains quiet indoors, though guests may notice typical city or traffic sounds outdoors, particularly during peak travel hours.
The neighborhood is primarily residential with normal city activity. This location is best suited for guests who value walkability, accessibility, and proximity to downtown. Guests seeking a secluded, rural, or resort-style setting may prefer a different location.
