Misleading, not what you expect.
We were deeply disappointed by our stay at this property, which was misrepresented in the listing and fell far short of basic safety and cleanliness standards.The biggest issue was the pool, which was green and full of algae when we arrived. A pool technician didn’t come until late afternoon, confirmed there was no chlorine, dumped gallons of chemicals into the water, and never returned to retest. The chemical fumes were so strong we couldn’t sit outside, and we were never able to safely use the pool—the main reason we booked this rental.The property was poorly maintained:•Sliding glass door lock is broken, leaving us feeling unsafe.•Smoke alarm failed on night one due to low battery and didn’t function the rest of the stay.•HVAC filter was the wrong size, meaning the air wasn’t being properly filtered.•Floors were filthy, our kids’ feet turned black within minutes.•Coffee pot was dirty, refrigerator filter was overdue, and there were no cleaning supplies or dishwasher tabs, not even one.•Not even basic kitchen staples like salt and pepper were available.Management is a joke and claimed the owners were on a cruise and unreachable. We also got a text at 11 PM, which felt completely unprofessional after everything we’d dealt with.This was supposed to be a vacation, and it was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. The home looks lovely in the photos, but our experience was the opposite. Until changes are made, we cannot recommend it.
