Great stay and accommodation for our golf trip. Clean and great communication. The only surprise was the train coming through after midnight. The horn was a bit startling but other than that it was excellent

nice place

Hi, this was a nice place with a nice host but there were a few issues I had with it: One, it was full of perfumes, so if someone is sensitive to smells/synthetic fragrances it should be noted. The second is the windows don't open, so if someone needs fresh air coming in, take note. There is a great working ac/heat unit. The last thing is that it is right off a train track, so, the train woke us up at 3am..so if you're a light sleeper, take note...besides for that, the host was wonderful, it was a beautiful home, it had everything we needed, and we enjoyed the fence yard and friendly neighbors.

Hi Chaya, Thank you for your detailed feedback and kind words about your stay. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the home, the fenced yard, and the friendly neighbors. I appreciate you pointing out the issues with the perfumes and the windows. I'll make sure to mention the use of synthetic fragrances in the listing for future guests who may be sensitive. I’ll also look into options for better ventilation. Regarding the train noise, I apologize for the disturbance. I’ll make sure to include this information in the listing for light sleepers. Thank you again for your constructive feedback and for staying with us. Best regards, Ryan

Cute historic home

The communication was excellent. Ryan was quick to respond to my questions which is always appreciated. The house is just lovely and very cozy. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. We only stayed Saturday night so the train wasn’t an issue, but the track runs within feet of the house. The furniture is comfy. I do have some suggestions. The listing says it accommodates 7 but the supplies were a little short for that amount of people. We couldn’t find any sheets or blankets for the couch. I would recommend a couple of extra blankets because the king bed only had a very thin bedspread. There were only 6 coffee pods with flavored coffee for the keurig so we had to make a Starbucks run. We were warily watching the partial roll of toilet paper as we were getting low with no other rolls in sight. Overall, we were very pleased with the house and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on a weekend! Thank you for a pleasant stay!
