Great spot!

This was the perfect little apartment for a weekend getaway. Very secure and clean place! The property manager was extremely helpful and quick to reply.

Didn’t get to stay/last minute changes

This was the perfect location for a family wedding we were attending in St Louis. We had our in laws staying with us as well. We were notified a week before that the home was double booked even after I reached out personally to discuss details (not just book it immediately). I was told I would get a full refund and then was completely ghosted once that was said. I had to find a last minute place for two families to stay and just got my refund back this past week because I had to file a claim with my bank. While the home is beautiful and met what I needed. The lack of communication was what made it terrible.

Cute apartment in super trendy neighborhood/great for adults/poor communication by host

Let me preface my review by saying I believe in leaving honest reviews after giving much understanding to situations. This apartment is in a great trendy neighborhood and it’s very cute and well decorated. It is perfect for going to see a Cards game and close to all the fun downtown things. That being said, the host was horrible at communicating. I had to call VRBO bc he hadn’t sent check in info 3 hours before check in even after multiple messages/ calls/texts from me. Finally, after VRBO called him he finally sent over the information. He seems nice but too busy to be managing this property. When we arrived we noticed the apartment had not been clean well at all, the sheets hadn’t been changed, there was poop streaks in a toilet, a dish washer full of dishes, and an empty beer can in the window of one of the bed rooms. I didn’t bring this to his attention immediately bc honestly I didn’t want a cleaning crew in there when I had just complained on them and all our things there. I did let him know upon check out. Speaking of check out, there were no instructions at all. I collected all the trash, put all dirty laundry in one spot, and ran the dishwasher. I let him know we left and the things we did. I did not hear back. Also, I do not recommend this listing for very old or very young people bc there are steep wooden stairs leaning to one side that led up to the apartment and would be a hazard and struggle. Lastly, the water pressure and temperature in the showers was horrible
