This 1800 sq. ft. townhome gives you stylish comfort and convenience for a Cincinnati area trip. It's close to downtown, ball parks, museums, theaters, airport, and more. It's well located on the Southbank shuttle route. Uber rides are available too.

There are three bedrooms and three baths. On the main level, there is the living dinning room, kitchen, bedroom with a queen sized bed, a full bath with shower, and a balcony. There are two bedrooms with queen sized beds, and two bathrooms as well as washer/dryer up stairs. . The unit itself is up a flight of stairs from ground level, and two bedrooms are up another flight of (relatively steep, old school) stairs along with two baths. Lots of vacation rentals try to cram 6 people into a tiny unit, that isn't the case here at all. With 1800 sq. feet, there plenty of room and plenty of privacy.

Excellent 4 Nights in Covington, Kentucky! Our accommodations were extremely clean and practical. The beds were so comfortable and having the ability to do laundry was a big plus also. Our host was responsive each time I had a question. The surrounding area is such a neat and eclectic place. There were a ton of really great restaurants. One day we went on a riverboat cruise. The next day we took in a baseball game and Oktoberfest the day after. It was a perfect getaway for us with a great location for our extremely comfortable stay in the evenings. Thank you!!!

Here’s the things that I look for when booking a place to stay! Cleanliness: the place was spotless! No bugs, no cobwebs, no dust even! Location: central location with TONS to do within walking distance. Coffee (lol): there was a basic coffee pot. The canister was empty but understandable. We brought extra so we left some there for the next guest. Filters were provided. Necessities: full size shampoo and body wash, hair dryers, tide pods for the washer. No true conditioner upstairs and no dryer sheets. Make sure you clean out the dryer vent thing. Noise: we just happened to be there during Oktoberfest so it was loudddddd but after 11 PM, silence. Bedding: the blankets and sheets were nice, pillows were miserable for me personally. But I understand we all like our pillows differently. Overall, I would stay here again. The host was very accommodating and responsive.

Girls weekend

A group of 9 ladies stayed at Units A & B this weekend, for the Cincy Open. These units are great! I love that they have a bathroom for every bedroom. The location is perfect for walking to downtown to Cincy, as well as plenty of fabulous restaurants and bars in local Covington. We had fabulous meals at The Governor's house, Mama's, Juniper. The place is well stocked and the washer and dryer are a plus. Anthony was great ! One of the girls had shoes delivered to the unit and they arrived a day early. Anthony contacted the owner of the mexican restaurant and they picked them up and held on to them for us. My family and I stayed here last year, so this is our second time to stay in this unit, and it won't be our last. Great Place for a great weekend !

Property was perfect for our needs. Clean and had the amenities were needed for our stay. We enjoyed downtown Covington. Love the old architecture of the building. I booked the house specifically for the first-floor bathroom and bedroom for my 85-year-old father. Th bedroom was on the first floor but it had two sets of stairs (three if you count the outside steps) to get to the first floor. The bathroom was also on the opposite side of the house. It all worked out fine, but we were surprised by the set-up.

Nice, with few exceptions

We love the location and the room sizes of this property. It took us a minute to find the property because the name of the restaurant- where the property is located- has changed. The owner needs to update his instructions. All of the pillows are flimsy and flat and the street gets kinda noisy in the early morning hours 6- 8. If you’re a light sleeper, forget about sleeping in late on vacation. We also awakened to a parking violation from the property manager one morning, but after calling we worked it out. She didn’t recognize our vehicle so she threatened have it towed. Other than that, we enjoyed the trip.

Weekend stay: just perfect

We loved our stay. To have parking right next to it and keycode entrance made it so easy to arrive super late at night upon arrival. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The stairs were steep to the 2nd floor, but the door on the bottom of the stairs made it easy for our toddler to roam around safely. The bathrooms were beautiful and made it feel easy for our kids to have access to a potty. We all slept soundly. I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else.

Cubs - Cincinnatti Baseball Game

This place was in an excellent location, less than 2 miles from the ball park. It is in an older building and the interior is updated, yet it retains the charm of an old building. We also enjoyed the story of the building and the area the owner had in the binder with all the information needed for a wonderful stay.The owner responded very quickly to any questions I had, both before and during our stay. I highly recommend this listing.

Perfect weekend!

We had the best weekend in Mainstrauss. This property was fabulous! Plenty of room, great bars and restaurants within 3 min. Walking distance. Mexican restaurant below for chips and margs and ice cream and hot Chocolate next door ( the best ). Great small town vibe ! We were able to walk to downtown Cinnci for shopping and activities and the Bengals game. Wonderful location! We will definitely stay here again.

Go Ravens!

Overall an awesome stay. Location of the stay was perfect. Good veiws and good vibes not far from places to eat and drink. The walk to the Bengals stadium was not bad providing if you are looking to get some cardio in.If not there is a shuttle bus to and from.

Nice Location

The place was as advertised. Two issues. First, the place hadn't been cleaned when we arrived. It was resolved quickly so really not a big deal. I did get reimbursed $75 though. Second, the WIFI was essentially useless. We had to work off of iPhone hot spots. Fortunately we were not around much and this is why I didn't escalate at the time.

Good location with a number of dining options nearby. A little tricky finding the entrance, but after that it is very much as advertised.

A Great Base for Exploring Cincinnati

We brought our 3 teenage grands to see the Ark Encounter, The Zoo and whatever else we could. Other than a glitch in the locating and checking in process, it was a wonderful place for our group. The 2 bedrooms and baths upstairs, with the 3rd bed and bath downstairs let us all have some privacy - we had a well equipped kitchen, nice big TV's. Perfect for us! (We were warned about the stairs!) The restaurant downstairs was great and the kids loved the ice cream shop next door. It's a lovely neighborhood with a park in sight on the next block.

Chill & Cozy

The photos did not do this place justice. The history behind the unit is so cool, and everything was clean and neat. It was only 3 of us staying here as we were in town for a wedding, we’re pretty quiet and low key, so this was so perfect. Theres a second unit in the same building, they were a little rowdier but honestly only noticed them when we were outside or passing each other on the stairs. The neighborhood is so fun, great array of restaurants, bars, and shops. The buildings have so much character! 10/10 would recommend!

Nice and Cozy

This place is nice and cozy. The stairs are pretty steep inside the house making it difficult for young children and elderly people to move from one floor to the next. One of my daughters took a nasty fall down the stairs, ultimately she was alright. But it did pose a bit of a problem for us. Otherwise the house was really great. It was a bit hard to find. But its connected to a mexican restaurant around the left side of the building.

Great location, charming neighborhood

The location was perfect, in the heart of Mainstrasse village. Restored historical building. Lots of space, plenty of privacy. It was a little difficult to find, given the listed description needs updating. The restaurant name listed has changed, and the house number on the awning wasn't visible. It could use some paint in the numbers to make it noticeable. There are 2 apartments, and they share a main entrance, so you rely on the other guests to keep the outside door locked as well. We were told to park in yellow space only, not white;however, the colors of the lines have long since faded. The property itself is nice, spacious, and charming. But if you plan on traveling during hot summer months, the air-conditioning does NOT effectively cool the upstairs rooms. Those that slept upstairs were too hot all night. Also, if there is an event in the park beside the rental, you will hear the noise. Overall we liked the property and would stay again. These are just things to keep in mind.

Weekend get away

The property is clean. The description of the extra sitting room online didn’t match what we expected. We were pleasantly surprised that this room is now an actual bedroom with a real bed. Otherwise, our stay was pleasant. The property is close to many sights of Newport, Covington and downtown Cincinnati.

Great trip

Loved the location and the house it self. Had a little problem finding the address but the people next door at the ice cream shop told us. We walked around the area each night and was a blast.

You can enjoy the charm and ambiance of an historic old home in an historic area, without sacrificing modern amenities like updated plumbing, updated fully functional kitchen, and central heat and air. Located in Mainstrasse Village, Covington, an area known for food, drink, and fun, as well as proximity to downtown Cincinnati and all the arts, museums, sports, and more . . . just ask yourself, why not have it all. If the weather is nice you can enjoy the balcony overlooking Gobbels Park, listen to the bell tower, and survey the beautiful boulevard that is 6th Street.
