The house was perfect for our group of nine in terms of configuration, number or bedrooms and baths, parking. air was disappointing hat the dishwasher was broken and I guess also the the garbage disposal, because when we used it there was a flood of water onto the kitchen floor coming from under the dishwasher. The hot water in the kitchen sink is a little quirky. Some showers relievers lots of hot water, some others never really got very hot.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad the home was a great fit for your group and that you enjoyed the spacious layout, bedrooms, bathrooms, and parking. We’re sorry for the kitchen issues you experienced during your stay. The dishwasher issue has since been addressed and a new dishwasher has been installed. We have also followed up on the hot water concerns to ensure everything is functioning properly. We appreciate your feedback and hope you otherwise enjoyed your stay.

Loved that this house was located in such a peaceful, remote area.

The house is beautifully decorated and easy to house 6 couples and a few children! Most bathrooms, especially the master are very old and in need of a renovation. Pictures on VRBO are mostly accurate but some make you think the house is much larger than it really is. Kitchen is well equipped and easy to cook in for larger numbers.

We are so glad you found the home peaceful. Our photos are 100% accurate, and we are sorry you felt the home might have been larger. At 6500+ square feet it is the largest home we manage, and we feel our pictures do it justice as far as the size of the home goes. All baths are working and fully functional regardless of personal taste of style and decorating. Hope you will visit again.

Beautiful Views

The view was beautiful. The house was nice and large with comfortable beds. Only issues were spiders on the bottom level but that is the basement level. We were confronted by a man informing us we could not kayak in the lake so we were not able to enjoy the water. Unsure why we were not told we couldn't do that prior to trip.

Beautiful home

The house was amazing, but the drive to it and the driveway were difficult. There was a lot of snow and although they said crews would be plowing the snow on both the roads and driveway everyday that didn’t happen. We got stuck with snow chains.

Thank you for your feedback. Our area and HOA snow crews do their best to plow as soon as possible, but we have had many feet of snow and it can be a difficult task to continually keep up on. This is why we require 4 wheel drive with snow tires or snow chains.

Todo muy bien solo que cerraron purgatory, con la casa 2 comentarios, el jacuzzi estaba muy sucio, el agua turbia y el baño de la recámara principal estaba tapado

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed your stay overall. The hot tub is serviced prior to each guest’s arrival. Our local mineral content can give the water a naturally cloudy look even when it is clean and properly maintained. Regarding the clogged toilet, we were not notified of this issue during your stay. If we had been informed, maintenance would have been dispatched promptly to address it.

The location of this home was perfect for our Colorado Jeep trip. We stayed at this home in the mountains and then did Jeep trails nearby. We loved having a bathroom for each bedroom!

Perfect winter retreat home by the lake

The house was great. We spend there with family and friends a long February weekend. It was perfect. Warm, clean, well-equipped in the kitchen, large dining table. Everything was exactly as advertised. I would definitely book it again. Especially by the lake in the summer.

Great place for friend reunion!

This place was better than expected from the pictures and prior reviews. It is HUGE and has lots of extras. Great for kids, with some toys and coloring supplies. The kitchen is very well equipped, one of the best short-term rental kitchens I've found. Also, a beautiful and private location in the snowy mountains north of Durango.

Wonderful property for large groups!

This was the perfect property for four families. The kitchen was huge, there were plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms, and fantastic views from every room in the house. This house is about a 35 minute drive to Durango, and about a 5 minute drive to Purgatory. And, there's a separate suite downstairs for kids with bunk beds, a hot tub, and a game room. The only complaints (and they are extremely minor) are that there are no steak knives, and there is only one large television on the main floor. There is also a separate freezer in the garage that should not be used/opened (it has not been emptied for a long time).

Erroneous Facts in VRBO

We had 14 people that occupied VRBO 387469 from Sept 8, 2015 to Sept 11, 2015. We have been renting property using VRBO for 20 years and have always found the information to be correct. In this case, though, the VRBO listing showed 7 bedrooms and 7 Bathrooms on the front page and also showed the individual bedroom/bathroom listing with a bath for each bedroom. Upon arriving we looked desperately for the 7th bath. It was not to be as there were only 6 baths. This was obviously a huge inconvenience as 2 couples had to share one bath. We asked for a credit and were denied. When dealing with this rental agency, be careful.
VrboOwnerからの返信 (投稿日 : 2023 年 7 月 26 日)
Again we do apologize that we had made an error on the listing. Unfortunately we do make mistakes sometimes, we are human, and we don't feel guests should have to be wary of our company because of this. We have corrected the listing. We did also give you a 10% refund because of our error. We are sorry you feel that was inadequate but we felt we tried to help you make the best of a bad situation.
