2014年に建てられたコテージで、グルメキッチン、バイキング器具、花崗岩が使われています。 1階と2階の両方に堅木張りの床、1階にダブルスライドドア。 2ベッドルームにはドレッサー付きクイーンサイズベッドがあり、オーシャンビューが楽しめます。 ベッドルーム3には2段ベッドと1台のシングルベッドがあり、デンにはクイーンベッドがあります。洗濯物は真新しいXL容量の洗濯機/乾燥機で1階にあります。 1階と2階にはフルサイズのバスがあります。 大きなダイニングルームのテーブルと、バースツール付きのキッチンの特大サイズのバー。 リビングルームにはケーブルとソファ付きの小さなフラットスクリーンテレビがあります。 ポーチには十分な座席があり、グリルとテーブルが備わっています。 ポーチは幅10フィートで、プライベートビーチに向かって下り階段で家の周りを包みます。 ビーチへのアクセスはホテルの左側、100ヤード以内にあります。 私たちとアカディア国立公園を訪れてください。

We had a great stay! Location was very convenient to both Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, and there were also several great restaurants close by. The private beach was amazing - such a great place to watch the sunset, and the kids had a lot of fun tide pooling. The house was very clean and well equipped - thank you Robin for hosting!

Robin's home was perfect for our week stay with our 2 grown children. Location to Acadia entrance (10 min) and short drive to Bar Harbor (15 min) so great! Super clean, comfy, quiet neighborhood and we really enjoyed the back deck. Easy check in and out and enjoyed the beach area and the "Ovens" at low tide. Robin was very quick to answer any questions/concerns. We highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The listing was completely accurate and we felt like it was actually “better than advertised”. There was a short walk to the private beach and it was so picturesque. Easy drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Great food nearby, too, if you want to avoid the Bar Harbor crowds. The host was outstanding and we had a great experience in Maine at this home. Would definitely stay here again if we are fortunate enough to return to Mount Desert Island!

The home was perfect for our family vacation. It had all the amities we needed for a very comfortable stay. There were seven adults and plenty space for everyone. Access to a private beach was the best. The location was also great as we were not is the hustle and bustle of the tourists but had close access to the activities in Acadia and Bar Harbor. We all took home many wonderful memories of our stay in this home.

House was very clean. It is situated nicely for afternoon/evening shade. Short walk to the beach. Only very minor issue is that the TP was not supplied. Very minor obviously but bring some when you come.

Great location. Just outside of park and in a quieter area than being right in the center of town. There is a bus stop near the main road for ease of getting into town. Listing mentions a hot tub which there wasn’t. Weather was cool at night but just so you are aware there are fans in the home, but no A/C.

Beautiful relaxing trip

What a great place in a perfect location!!! Easy quick drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor and the Bay right outside the back door!! The house is pristine and we felt so at home! Robyn was very kind to greet us and fill us in with tips of the area! I just did not want to leave!!! I want to be back there!!

Incredible vacation getaway

One of the best vacation properties we have stayed The house was very comfortable. Very tranquil and relaxing house and property. The views of the bay were awesome and the fall foliage added to the ambiance It was so comfortable we ended up staying in a few nights instead of eating out A great lobster pound was nearby Robyn dropped by when we checked in to make sure we were familiar with the property. She was very nice It was easy access to Acadia We would definitely recommend staying there

Bar harbor stay

A nice quiet location very near the water. A very complete kitchen and appliances to match. An easy drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The owner was friendly and helpful. We were just ahead of the fall color bloom, but it was lobster we were after, which the area restaurants fulfilled.

Two of us spent 4 weeks in the house. We had a pair of visitors for a few days, otherwise just us. Our host Robin--a very nice person--was living nearby and was always available but never intruded. Spotlessly clean. Bright great room with modern sliding doors to the deck. Lovely deck facing the bay. Very well-equipped gourmet kitchen (albeit the knives are dull to the point of blunt). Ample power outlets (a lot of places fail in this department). Top notch bedding and linens. Newer washer and dryer. Location is perfect--a short drive to the Acadia visitor center and 5 miles from the hubbub of Bar Harbor. We were visited almost daily by a group of deer, watched from the deck as a red fox caught a rodent of some sort, observed resident squirrels preparing for winter. In short, a wonderful getaway.Among the few negatives--no hot tub as advertised (that really should be updated), limited closet space, great room TV was small and master bedroom TV did not have a power cord.

Back to Acadia

Thank you Robyn for another wonderful stay. We enjoyed our daily plunges in the water and the wonderful sunsets on the beach and off the deck. Thank you also for telling us about the bioluminescence - unexpected treat! We love to cook and the place is very well stocked! Truly a gem of a spot. Thank you for helping with wonderful family memories!

Maine Serenity

Property was wonderfully maintained in a beautiful quiet private setting on the water with its own beach. The balcony overlooking the water is large, with a table for dining large enough to accommodate all eight of us. It is situated a short drive to Bar Harbor (10 minutes) and 2 minutes from multiple restaurants and a great ice cream vendor. The host lives nearby and was quite attentive. There is a vendor for kayaks adjacent to the property, so can rent from them--though it would be great in the future if the property provided a couple of kayaks. Would definitely come back again

Extended SUMMER!

We just got back from a great family trip. The house was great for the 6 of us. We enjoyed the house, the beach, proximity to Bar Harbor and Acadia. The open space in and out were great. My kids and their boyfriends were able to work during the day (they all said the wifi worked well) and we played after. The reviews posted for this property are accurate and we hope to get back again. Thank you Robin for helping to extend our suummer!

Traditional Bar Harbor Vacation

The house was very clean, great location and amazing views! We received a warm greeting by the owner that provided us with great information. The house was the perfect amount of room for us, i.e., 4 adults and 2 children. We were minutes from town and the park. It is not typical to have humid weather in Bar Harbor but for some reason there was. It would have been great if the house had central air but we made the best of it with fans. Overall, beautiful home and an amazingly active vacation. I would totally rent the place again. Thanks so much Robin (owner)!!

House with water views

The house was very comfortable - plenty of room for the 6 of us (adults). We had great weather, so enjoyed the deck & spending time on the beach (short walk from the house) - beautiful sunsets from beach & deck! The kitchen was well equipped. There were extra towels, beach towels & beach chairs plus washer & dryer.You can walk to the Devi’s Oven at low tide (caves) & the cottage colony nearby rent kayaks. Location was great - less than 10 minutes to Hulls Cove Visitors Center (park your car & take the bus - we used it to go to Jordan Pond & Sand Beach). The drive to Bar Harbor less than 15 minutes. Highly recommend Bar Harbor Lobster Pound that is close by. We enjoyed our stay & highly recommend this house!

Wonderful location, very clean, safe and relaxing

Bottom line is we have a wonderful time and the house was wonderful. The best thing about the house is the location, back deck (we ate outside nearly every day), and proximity to the water. There are great restaurants nearby and the beach is just a couple minute walk away. The listing said there was a hot tub, but it only has a normal tub. The kitchen has everything you would want, but the dishwasher didn't clean the dishes very well. Pleanty of dishes, cups and silverware. The smallest bedroom with a queen bed was not very comfortable. The room with the bunk bed and twin is really for children. My adult son found the bed uncomfortable. The rest of the beds were good. The furniture was solid and comfortable. We did not find any broken furniture. Internet was good. I was expecting lots of mosquitoes, but we hardly saw any.

Good stay but owner taking advantage of alleged damage!

Dining room chair had a seat that was loose. I left it off center so it could be reattached. Robin turned in a $1700 claim and I have not received my $200 waiver back. With 4 screws I could have reattached it as there was no damage. She will not return my phone call and I'll try to deal with this through the insurance company. I would be leery of staying with this owner in the future.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The home is beautiful and a short walk to the ocean. We spent most of our time at Acadia and Bar Harbor. Our host was great and we all had a relaxing stay in this peaceful Maine home.

My dream was to build on this piece of family property. It has been in my family for many years . I have such fond memories of coming here as a child with my sisters and then bringing my family here. The cousins all have come here together for many summers. We still come together every year and the memories continue to build. The many grand children still run on the beach and go to each others cottage for snacks and meals. I cherish the gifts that summer brings when I am here. I especially love the laughter of the children. I live in Bangor and I come to this island as often as I can. I am so grateful to have my dream come true. I would like to offer this gift to you. Come and enjoy!

It is beautiful,quiet, peaceful and has a calming effect on the spirit. It is fun to play by the water and find things on the beach. The stars on the front deck are so bright they speak to the little kid in you.

The stars are spectacular at night—the deer sleep on the front lawn. The starfish and sand dollars are all over the beach!
