Rating Details:
The property manager was adequately helpful.
The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

We rented Marsha Marsha Marsha for five nights and were disappointed by the condition of the property and the lack of follow-through from the management company.Several remote controls throughout the house did not work. We contacted management and were told someone would come the following day to replace them, but no one ever arrived and we received no further communication.The most concerning issue was the visible mold and/or mildew on the ceilings surrounding the recessed lights. More than half of the recessed-light areas appeared to be affected, which raised concerns about the home’s maintenance and overall condition.When we arrived, towels and bath mats from the previous guests were still sitting in the dryer. The overall cleanliness of the house was also below what we expected for a rental at this price point.There were numerous wasp nests on the upstairs porch overlooking the marsh, making it difficult to comfortably enjoy one of the property’s best outdoor spaces.The six-passenger golf cart also had a flat tire upon arrival. I pumped it up myself, but within two days it was noticeably low again, indicating an ongoing leak. Since golf carts are essential transportation on Bald Head Island, it should have been properly inspected and ready for use before check-in.The house has a great location and plenty of potential, but it needs more thorough cleaning, better routine maintenance, stronger inspections between guests, and improved responsiveness from management. Based on our experience, we would not rent this property again unless these issues were addressed.
