The West Seattle Bungalow is a modern guesthouse in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown, the airport, and stadium events, including the 2026 World Cup. It features a king bed, in-unit washer and dryer, a private fenced yard, and easy self check-in. Great for couples or longer stays, it’s a comfortable place to unwind.

Close to Alki Beach, Lincoln Park, and plenty of local restaurants.

The space
Bright, modern, and designed for comfort. Located about 20 minutes from downtown and close to Alki Beach, Lincoln Park, and local dining.

Other things to note
Dogs allowed (1 max) with a pet fee per stay. Please include your dog in the reservation when booking. Pets are not allowed on furniture and guests are responsible for cleanup. Cats are not allowed.

The bungalow is located behind the main home and is set up for guest use. I live on the property and may occasionally be around exterior areas, but I do my best to leave the backyard space for guests to enjoy. I also have a friendly dog and keep the yard quiet and private during guest stays.

Blinds or privacy shades have been added to all windows since the original photos were taken. Best suited for two adults. Children welcome.

A lovely, peaceful spot

These nice accommodations are new and thoughtfully designed and appointed. The neighborhood is easily accessible and pleasant. I highly recommend it for a stay in West Seattle. I was here to attend my grandson’s high school graduation.

Perfect getaway

I have stayed at a lot of VRBOs and Gian's getaway is absolutely perfect..so many thoughtful touches ..the bed is super comfy..always a must..full size appliances should you wish to cook...a super quiet and convenient location.. communication with Gian was first rate...will definitely stay there again and again

Very nice

The property is close to our son and daughter-in-law's home. We come to Seattle to see the grandkids. This property was quiet, exactly as advertised, and very comfortable. We plan on booking there again for our next trip.

Quiet, private getaway place to stay

This bungalow is delightful. With a FULL kitchen, comfy bed, relaxing sofa, and great host. It is clean and well maintained with a private entrance. Don't look at the Google picture of the property! It is outdated. Both the host residence and the bungalow are beautifully restored.

The cottage was adorable and well equipped. We were in a nice quiet location and were able to just relax. Gian was a very cordial host who helped us try to locate another Vrbo due to our flight cancellation. If we return to Seattle, we would definitely look into staying there again.

FANASTIC STAY! Parking was great and safe! The place was super clean! Super quiet neighborhood Highly recommend! Also note: the bed was SUPER DUPER COMFY! loved the pillows as well! Wish I knew the brand! Photos of parking in the back! •(Note it is for smaller vehicles) A gravel spot out front for bigger vehicles •(not pictured in this review)Super safe and quiet place and super clean, was “ WOWED” when I walked into the place! :)

My husband & I stayed 5 nights recently, to tour Seattle & Mt. Rainer National park. Very cozy & comfortable property!!! In perfect & quiet residential location not far from downtown. Comfy bed, wonderful A/C, good shower. Only used the frig, but full kitchen was there! Pretty good layout. Has private entrance in back. Ran into owner in his yard & had good conversation. We were looking for a property with good a/c & no pets allowed. This is a backyard property & we were a LITTLE disappointed when we arrived back one afternoon, came in the private entrance & the dog came barking towards us (even though he was harmless. ) Owner may consider a gate between yard & VRBO entrance.?? Overall, we had a very nice stay & would stay again & will recommend to friends!! Thanks again for a comfy stay!!

Overall: What a cute little house! It was in a great location if you want to be near downtown but not in the hustle and bustle or the sketchier parts of town. I only gave it 4 stars because it wasn’t the cleanest. Lots of dust, hair in the tub and bathroom sink, some of the dishes in the cabinet weren’t fully clean, and the fridge had dust and crumbs all over. Notes: I use a cane sometimes and I wouldn't say this is an ADA accessible place. I do alright most days so it wasn’t a non-negotiable for me, just something to keep in mind. The entrance has an uneven stone pathway, there’s a big step up into the house, and the door sticks something fierce haha but once you’re inside, it’s easy to move around. (They don’t advertise as ADA accessible, just personal thoughts as disabled person)Bonuses: 1. The parking! Was so convenient and hides your car from street view. With a private backyard entrance too! 2. Pet friendly with a gated yard is always a plus! 3. Washer and Dryer! (Just make sure you bring detergent)

We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our trip to Seattle. The bungalow is perfect and had everything we needed. It is so well designed, like a picture out of a magazine, and the bed is super comfortable! The area is very safe and I would have no hesitation staying there alone. Gian was a wonderful host. We will definitely stay at this property or Gian’s other property on our next trip to Seattle.
