Remodeled Eolus Ski in/Ski Out condo - Slope & Mountain Views - Deck

Just take the elevator to the ground floor and you are steps away from the main ski lift. Our 1,300 SF 3 bedroom/2 bath (Unit 424) single level condo is located on the 4th floor of the Eolus building which is located in the heart of the main plaza - making your vacation as convenient as possible.

Fully remodeled, the kitchen is fully stocked and the condo features the usual amenities including , washer/dryer, high speed WIFI, wood burning fireplace and a deck. The views from the main living space are amazing.

Bed Configuration: Single Level
Master - King with TV and Ensuite Bath
2nd Bedroom - Queen with TV and Ensuite Bath
3rd Bedroom - Bunk Bed (single over single) and TV (updated photos coming soon)
Main Living Space - King Pull Out Sofa

There is one assigned parking space on the 2nd floor of the building and additional vehicles can be parked in the main ski lots. The Eolus building features 2 hot tubs (year around) on the ground floor.

Due to HOA rules, all condos in the Eolus building are not pet friendly. Please do not bring your pets/emotional support animals.

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

Location is great. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The location of master bedroom window directly above loading dock and snow cat route was problematic for sleeping at night. The constant beeping of trucks backing up and snowcats going in and out at all hours of the night made it hard to sleep.

The location was perfect. Close to the lifts but not in the very main area with loud music and crowds. The apartment was clean. We did smell the smell others described, luckily just once. It does take a long time (20min) to run hot water in the morning but that's likely because there were not many tenants in the building when we stayed. The property mgmt was very responsive when we asked about the water. Overall, it was a great stay and I would recommend it.

The condo was nicely decorated and clean. However, there was construction and painting nearby. It was noisy and smelled of diesel fuel. Additionally, there were limited amenities available. There was no notice on the reservation site that summer activities did not start until the 16th of June.

Ready to return

I would go back tomorrow. This condo had all the conveniences of home and was the perfect layout for our family. Our 11 month old grandson loved the bear-footstool!! We didn’t cook but the kitchen was setup with all the necessities, just bring pods for coffee. It even had an air fryer. The WiFi was great. Loved the covered parking, location, and private balcony. The management company was excellent! Easy check-in and out. Thanks for a memorable weekend.

Disappointment.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came in to a dirty, nasty sink that ended up being clogged and could not use it at all. Therefore, we couldn't wash dishes to cook and eat. Which was the whole point of booking a condo instead of a hotel so that we could prepare our own food. So we ended up having to go out to eat and spend MORE money while we waited for it to be fixed. Then the toilet started leaking which was never resolved. So we wrapped a towel around the base of it and avoided the nasty toilet water. I emailed the property manager about our frustrations and basically were just told "they're working on it" Keep in mind, because of it being summer, the Purgatory restaurants are only open 11am-4pm. So you have to drive to Durango (more money on gas!) in order to feed your family. The house itself was a great set up, comfortable. But it is right above a maintenance entrance for the resort, so lots of backing up trucks, loading sounds etc. It's also right next to the elevator entrance so lots of foot traffic. If you need a place that's more quiet, with less noise keep that in mind.
