Hilo Lagoon Centre is a noteworthy mid-century modern building in downtown Hilo. Our condo unit 814 boasts epic views of the Hilo lagoons, the Pacific ocean, and quaint downtown. We invite you to visit our tastefully decorated two-suite condominium for your vacation or work trip. Unit 814 has two bedrooms, each with an en-suite full bathroom. Both bedrooms have king sized beds, a dresser, walk-in closet, SMART TVs, and bedside tables with lamps. Both bathrooms have a vanity sink, toilet, and a shower (one bedroom has a bathtub/shower combo).

The fully stocked kitchen is in the middle of the unit between the bedrooms, ensuring privacy. Cook locally found foods or reheat your fabulous restaurant leftovers. The kitchen is fully remodeled and has all the small appliances you'll need including a microwave, 12-cup drip coffee maker, toaster and blender. Every floor at the Hilo Lagoon Centre has a convenient laundry room (coin operated machines) for your use during your stay. Enjoy coffee or cocktails sitting on any one of the three balconies in the condo overlooking the lagoons. See if you can spot an infamous Nene goose in the gardens below!

Hilo, Hawaii is the best kept secret town in our famed state. In the condo we provide you with a binder full of suggestions for activities, restaurants, tours and more to inspire your vacation. Looking to tour a chocolate farm, or hug cows, or view planetary wonders, or taste a myriad of tropical delights? Hilo has you covered! Not to mention, Hilo is a short drive to Volcanoes National Park where you may see the birth of earth itself when active lava flows are present. Be prepared to be awe inspired!

This is a nicely appointed condo for two couples to stay. It is squeaky clean! Lovely views of the lagoon. The host is very responsive too. We really enjoyed our time there and touring Hilo. Thanks for hosting us!

The location is a perfect launch point for everything you want to do on the windward side of the Big Island. The beds are so comfortable, the views are great, the kitchen is spatious and easy to cook in, the layout of the space is perfect for privacy and gatherings. My family and I would highly recommend staying here. Also, the booking agents are incredible. They are so flexible and understanding. I had to change my reservation twice and they did both seamlessly. They also fully refunded the money I put towards the stay without hesitation. We also love Salt Water! Mahalo

The hotel location was conveniently located for what we wanted to see. The decor of the condo was very tasteful. Loved the view from the lanai. Peaceful. Very clean condo and appreciated the cleaning tools on site to help maintain everything.

If I could rate this condo higher than 5 stars, I would. My wife and I are extremely picky about cleanliness when staying in VRBO’s, hotels, etc. We were very pleased with how clean the condo was. My wife and I spent a week on the Big Island, splitting our time between Hilo and Kona. After staying in this condo, I wish we had spent the entire week in Hilo. We loved the condo, loved Hilo, and have zero complaints. We will definitely stay at this same condo the next time we visit Hawaii.

The condo was beautiful, updated with class, very clean and the floor plan was perfect for our needs. We appreciated the cleaning tools (Swiffer mop.and vacuum cleaner) so that we could tidy up. Didn't get a chance to lounge on the beach, but appreciated the beach supplies. The location was ideal! So close to everything we wanted to see and places to eat. We were grateful for a dedicated and covered parking spot.We wish we could have stayed longer or better yet could live in this condo!

Parking looked a little confusing, however me and my family had a handicap placard which made parking convenient and easy for us. We were able to get to our destinations from this location which was nice. It was nice and quiet at night. The coffee shop right downstairs was amazing.

Location was good, however we did have to drive places. Close to downtown, restaurants & pharmacy. Building & hallways older and dated. Parking was good. Elevator & luggage cart made it very convenient for unloading. Washer & dryer just steps from condo (needed to have change to do laundry). Air conditioning in each room was very good. Closet with beach chairs, towels & snorkel equipment. View from balcony was pretty as advertised in photo. Condo was mostly updated. Kitchen was narrow and had enough space for one person only. No exhaust fan for cooktop. Would have been nice to have more dishtowels and drainer since the unit did not have dishwasher. More ice trays and silverware needed. Extra chair in living room would have been good. Nice TV and ability to stream was very good. Also nice to have TV's in 2 bedrooms. Bedrooms were both roomy. Master bath had very old tub with no stopper and shower had hand held that was placed very low (more for a child than adult).Vanity area was nice & large closet in bathroom was good. Luggage holders for luggage in bedroom would be good to have. Furniture on 2 of the balconies was nice. More pillows would be good. Overall our stay was good. Did not use pool.

Great Location

Clean and updated 2/2 condo in central Hilo. Easy drives to Volcanoes National Park, Waimea, waterfalls, and downtown Hilo. Loved walking to coconut island and around the park. Beautiful sunrises can be experienced every morning on one of the three balconies. Mahalo!

Quick Trip to Hilo

The condo was quite nice! Well stocked, great size, very clean, nice view of the park. Perfect for a short trip for 2 couples. The owners notebook with local places and info was great.

Comfortable condo in Hilo

This is a great 2BD 2BA condo to enjoy your time in Hilo. The two bedrooms are large and roomy. There's modern furnishings throughout, and beach equipment in the closet. The kitchen is well-equipped. The location is close to many cafes and restaurants. Despite being near the airport, noise is not an issue. The only negative was that our entry into the condo was delayed because we weren't given correct access code information by the property management company. Also, as others have mentioned, 2 tiny bars of soap are provided, which seems unnecessarily stingy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.
