Great home , great host , and one amazing small Maine Town. If you can’t have a great time here unwinding , you never will . From Sunrise pics early morning , to the Spectacular Full Moon rise at dusk , perfect ocean temps , and your choice of beaches , this location has it all.

Gem in heart of Kennebunk

We loved our stay at Shelly’s cute home. Great screened back porch was a bonus! Home had everything we needed and more. So clean and comfortable. The location downtown made it extra perfect! We’ll definitely be back!

Fun Family Getaway

We loved our stay here. Shelly thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Lots to do within walking distance, including great restaurants. The beaches and port are a quick drive away.

Spring in Kennebunk

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful Kennebunk "home" for a week and enjoyed every minute of the stay. Shelly, our host, was super in getting back to us right away with answers to our questions. There is nothing you need to bring with you except your clothes. The home provides everything you need including some wonderful extras. Thank you Shelly for allowing us to spend a wonderful week in this gorgeous home.

Great trip

This is our second year in a row staying here as a family, and we will be back next year. The house is well stocked and even has beach items to go with the beach pass. I would highly recommend the house for any couple or small family, as well as Shelly, the amazing host.

Great getaway

We had a great time at this house! It was very clean, organized and have all amenities you could need for a stay. It was close to all the local beaches and restaurants and beach pass was a plus too! Our host was responsive and helpful when we needed her. We look forward to return to Kennebunk!

Great Home for a Family of 4

A great home for a week in Maine. The house is nicely done and perfectly sized for our group of 4. A great location in Kennebunk, with easy drives to the beaches and other points of interest. Shelly was a great host.

Perfect little cottage

Spent 10 wonderful days in this home away from home. Spotlessly clean, absolutely everything we needed, cannot praise this place and owner enough. Away from the maddening beach crowds but still close enough. Beautiful little town, within walking of cafe’s, French bakery, restaurants.

Fantastic place, great host

We loved our stay! The place is small but super adorable and it fit the 4 of us just fine. We loved the screened in porch and grill outside. Everything from the simple decor to the cleanliness to the location was great. The host was incredibly helpful and gracious. Thank you! We'd all gladly stay again.

Perfect girls trip

Property owner great! Everything was perfect! One of my friends is a house cleaner, she gave a ten on cleanliness. It was perfect for the 3 of us, the in closed porch was so lovely. Would recommend for family with two kids, girls trip and more. Close to everything.

We loved this cottage in the middle of kennebunk so much for many reasons: Shelly is such a pleasure to communicate with, she has stocked the house so thoughtfully with things like food (half & half, seltzer, water, cookies), sunscreen, birthday candles, excellent shampoo and body wash, beach buggy, chairs & toys - I could go on. The house is spotless and we loved the warm original wood floors. The linens were top notch - I checked the sheets because I want to purchase some (Cuddledown brand). The AC was really effective and the quietest I've ever experienced. We especially loved the screened porch and spent a lot of time there. Finally, the location is great because you can walk to nice restaurants like 50 Local (highly recommend) which is around the corner, as well as an excellent bakery (Boulangerie) and nice stores like the Octopus bookstore. We would love to go back and rent Shelly's place again.

Fabulous

3 Friends arrived and Shelly made sure we felt welcome. The house was impeccably clean and just perfect. The back screen porch was amazing and our go to almost all of the time. The location was wonderful and we had a great time exploring Kennebunk and all of its beautiful gardens around town. She had lots of information to help with making plans. Great get away.

Fun Weekend Getaway

We had a great family vacation at this house. The house is very clean and comfortable and feels spacious for a 2 bedroom because of the nice screened in porch. The layout worked great for our family and we could watch a movie without keeping our littlest kid up which was great. Also the beds were super comfortable! I am a picky pillow and mattress person and I slept like a baby. We loved being able to walk to dinner at 50 local and easily get to the bakeries in the morning. Shelly had a super clean (and cute!) pack and play and high chair available for us to use which was much appreciated. Overall great stay and would stay again!

Hi my name is Shelly. I grew up just down the road in York, Maine and raised my children (2 sons) through their younger years in Wells, Maine. When they became school aged we moved to Kennebunk were I have worked for the school system for 24 years. I have summers free which leaves me time to manage a HomeAway property for the summer. In past years I have worked seasonally for fine resorts and know what guests need and want. I consider myself to be adventurous and know the good spots to hike, bike, surf, Golf etc. I look forward to meeting my guests and am ready to assist in any way that I can :)

Kennebunk has a great sense of community and the people are very warm and friendly. You can feel the vibe the minute you make your way to Main Street! It is very apparent that it is a community that cares. The beaches and quaint Kennebunkport are most likely the two top reasons the Kennebunks are so popular during the summer season.

I fell in love with this home because of all the light that filters into the living space. With so many windows in such a small house it is always bright and sunny and welcoming! All interior lighting are on dimmer switches to enhance the mood at different times of the day. All floors are wood and in the bathroom tile that looks like wood! The layout of rooms makes a lot of sense too. The back yard is private and is a great place to unwind and cook on the grill. A covered screened in porch adds to the living space. The gas cooking inside is also a treat. There are all brand new high end appliance in the kitchen which makes cooking fun. Also a washer and dryer in the basement and some storage in the garage for any recreational extras (bicycles, kayaks, surfboards etc) you'd like to bring along.
