Welcome to ✧Chateau de Corbeau✧, a large, amenity-packed, family vacation home that has something for everyone! Design was a priority in this 2020 remodel, with a gourmet kitchen, game room, 6 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, hot tub, and ample activities for entertainment. Surrounded by forest, this home is situated on a quiet street with full-time residents, so this home is best for families, and those wanting the quiet and tranquility of the High Sierras. Loud noise and parties are prohibited.

→ This home has a maximum occupancy of 10. The maximum occupancy applies throughout the stay. If you have questions about the acceptability of your group, please contact us to discuss. Our home is not pet friendly.

🔥 House Details
The living room sets the stage for the rest of the home with a stunning custom wooden ceiling and a sitting area ideal for conversation or quiet time with an enjoyable book. The large family room offers ample lounge seating around a gas fireplace and a wide-screen TV. The separate sophisticated dining room seats 8 comfortably and has access to the outdoor grill; or guests can dine under the trees at the 8-seat teak table on the deck.

🍳 Kitchen
The open floor-plan gourmet kitchen is fully stocked and well-suited for serving large groups. With all stainless appliances, a center butcher-block island, and extended counters and barstool seating that invites gatherings and informal dining around the kitchen.

🎯 Game Room
A large game room located off the entry hallway has a large TV for movies and video games. Additional activities include air hockey, foosball, darts, cornhole, and board games.

🛏 Bedrooms
⦿ Bedroom #1-Master suite is equipped with a king post bed, modern workspace, TV, and en-suite master bath (Jacuzzi tub, standing shower, and large walk-in closet).
⦿ Bedroom #2 - Queen bed, workspace, and en-suite bathroom with shower.
⦿ Bedroom #3 - Twin-over-full and Twin-over-twin bunk sets and is perfect for children.
⦿ Bedroom #4 - Upstairs with a Queen bed.
⦿ Bedroom #5 - Full-over-full bunk bed.
⦿ Bedroom #6- Queen bed with deck access and a nearby full bathroom on ground level.

🛁 Shared Bathrooms: The first floor has a half-bathroom and full bathroom with steam/shower. A shared bathroom upstairs provides a shower/tub combo and double sinks.

🌲 The Outdoors
The front has a wraparound porch with Adirondack seating. Parking for 4 vehicles and turf area. The back of the home has a forest setting with a large deck and hot tub. Four sliding glass doors open to the deck that boasts an extra-large grill station with outdoor sink, 8-seat dining table, sectional and chez-lounge seating, and extra-large Jacuzzi tub. Other outside amenities include a volleyball/bad mitten court, ping-pong table, and spin bikes for further enjoyment and exercise.

🚗 Parking for up to 4 cars
The house is permitted for 4 cars, which must be parked on the driveway pavement. There is no garage parking. The driveway is a bit steep and narrow and can be come icy in the Winter. You will need 4WD and snow tires. You may also need chains so please bring them. There is no street parking available so it`s important you have the right vehicle to make it up the driveway. Message us if you have concerns or questions.

✏️ Please Note
• We are permitted for up to 10 adults max.
• We are permitted for up to 4 cars max. There is no street parking allowed at rentals so make sure to park all 4 cars on the driveway only. We prefer to have no `visiting vehicles`
• Our home is non-smoking.
• Our home is NOT pet friendly.
• Quiet hours are observed from 10pm - 8am but elevated noise will not be tolerated at any time. Occupancy is also limited during quiet hours.
• Like most homes in Tahoe, our home does not have AC. If coming during July or August, it can get into the high 80s but we do provide fans.
• After you book, you will be asked to sign our rental agreement.
• Love our home but want to save $? Book during the week for much lower rates!
• There is a gas firepit that has been disabled at the home and cannot be used by guests per local fire restrictions.
• The 2 car portion of the garage has been converted into a large game room complete with air hockey, foosball, darts, etc.
• The 1 car portion of the garage has been converted into owner storage and is not accessible to guests. Please keep kids out.
• The hot tub cannot be used after 10pm. This is pretty strict per the county ordinance.
• This home has a steep driveway so in the snowy Winter months all vehicles will have to have 4WD AND SNOW TIRES to make it up the driveway since there is no street parking in Tahoe.

This home is owned by a family/private owner so you will be renting someone’s cared-for home with many special amenities, not an investment property.

🚓 Local Rental Laws
We welcome guests who are in compliance with the local Vacation Rental Ordinance. Please see the “Additional House Rules” section for full ordinance regarding parking, occupancy, noise, trash, etc. If our guests do not abide by the ordinance, there may be charges and in very rare cases guests may be asked to leave our home. BY BOOKING THIS HOME YOU AGREE TO ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:

LOCAL VACATION RENTAL LAWS.
1. Occupancy - We are permitted for up to 10 guests at all times.
2. Hot Tub - The hot tub cannot be used after 10pm. This is VERY strictly enforced. You must be out before 10pm. We recommend staying inside after 10pm to avoid any noise issues with the neighbors.
3. Quiet Hours - County quiet hours at all rentals are from 10pm - 8am. There cannot be ANY noise after 10pm.
4. Noise - This home is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood therefore elevated noise including music is not tolerated at any time of the day.
5. Parking - We are permitting for up to 4 vehicles on the driveway only. Garage is not available to park in. Vehicles will be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.
6. Trash - Trash can never be left outside. All trash must be bagged up neatly and placed into the bear box at the bottom of the driveway. If the bear box is full, please contact us for a trash pick up. Failure to properly store trash will result in a $250 clean up fee.
7. Events - We cannot host weddings, bachelor or bachelorette parties or other large gatherings at our home.
***Failure to abide by the above ordinance will result in an automatic charge of $2,000 to cover fines from the county. Other repercussions could include a citation from local law enforcement and in rare cases, eviction and forfeiture of all monies paid. These are not Summit Tahoe rules, these are laws put forth by the local government that all guests and hosts must abide by.


25 YEARS OR OLDER TO RENT. You must be 25 years or older to book and be present at all times. You are responsible for everyone’s actions in your party.




CHECK IN & OUT TIMES.. Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 10am. Our check in and out times are industry standard times for Vacation Rentals in Tahoe. Early check in’s and late check out’s may be requested. However, if we have guests leaving or arriving on the same day as your request we may not be able to grant an early check in or a late check out.


NON-SMOKING. This home is a very strict non-smoking property, which includes the outside. Evidence of smoking including a smoke smell or cigarette butts on the ground will result in a $250 charge. If someone in your party smokes, please have them do so off the property lines and dispose of their butts appropriately.

DAMAGE. We have a ‘you break, you buy’ policy when it comes to damage. We will do a detailed inspection after you check-out to check for new damage. If you notice damage from a previous guest or if damage occurs during your stay, please report it to us right away. Attempting to conceal or failing to report damage, will automatically result in being charged for the replacement or repair.


HIGH FIRE DANGER. Tahoe is under high fire danger year round. The following actions are strictly forbidden: bonfires, outdoor fires, firepits, charcoal BBQs, fireworks, using the gas BBQ or gas firepit on a red flag day, etc.


UNFORESEEN HOME ISSUES. When renting someone else’s home, issues can arise that are out of our control. We do a detailed inspection before your arrival to ensure it’s clean and all amenities are functioning but despite our best efforts, sometimes things still happen. We ask that you communicate all issues as soon as they happen so we may be given the opportunity to rectify them.


FRAUDULANT CLAIMS. We believe in running an honest business and expect our guests to have the same mentality. Falsifying or embellishing home issues with the intention of receiving money back is something we will not tolerate.


CANCELLATIONS. We adhere to the cancellation policy we have set up on the site you booked through. We also highly recommend that our guests purchase travel insurance. However, we are human too. If you are past your cancellation time frame, please initiate the cancellation process on your end so we can open up the home’s calendar. If the home gets rebooked, we will refund you minus a 3% cancellation fee to cover credit card processing.
SECURITY CAMERAS. Like all vacation rental homes in Tahoe, we have security cameras on the exterior and noise decibel monitoring devices inside.

Beautiful space

The process of booking, check in, inquires and check out were seamless! Gorgeous, clean, modern and spacious property. Our goal was to enjoy the slopes without the hassle of other tourists - this location provided this. The host is AMAZING with timely communication! I would definitely stay here again when I visit the area.

Amazing stay!

We came to Tahoe with several families with children. We could not imagine a better place to stay! The home was large, comfortable, and had everything we could have needed. There were incredible amenities, especially for the kids who loved the game room and outdoor badminton/ping pong tables. The kitchen/grill were also high end appliances, and we enjoyed cooking dinner for our large group every night. The property managers were also very responsive- one afternoon, we could not find something, and they brought it directly to the house within an hour! My kids said that the best part of Tahoe was staying in this home. We would certainly consider staying here again and would recommend it to everyone!
