Check in was a breeze. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The kids were busy and happy with the pool, games upstairs, and the theater room. The area was quiet and relaxing.

Family vacation

The house is great for a large group of varied ages. The hot tub, pool, game room, and media room were all well utilized with our group. Be aware there are no dressers or suitcase stands so one has to live out of one's suitcase on the floor. There was plenty of space for the 11 of us in bedrooms and common areas. Most activities were about a 30 minute drive but well worth it for the house amenities and a quieter, more rustic neighborhood.

This house was great for our group!

We had a great stay at this property! It was great having so many bathrooms and we loved the theatre room. Our only complaint is that the pool was not heated as advertised. Since it was 30 degrees outside we never got to use the pool. Other than that the property management company was responsive and accommodated an early he j in and late check out due to the weather conditions .

Very pleased with vacation rental

We were very pleased with the vacation rental we had. It was stocked with the necessities for all of us from the kitchenware, condiments and bathroom products. There are a few things that you may want to look into like: the living room fireplace didn’t work, the upstairs bedroom floor/ carpet felt damp.

Get away

Home is very nice the whole family had a great time. My only complaint would be the outside stairs and the driveway were sheets of ice and we had two family members slip and fall. I know it’s hard to keep up with but be careful if you have small children or elderly family members in the winter months. Overall great experience.

Absolutely Perfect!

Everything was exactly as advertised, but better! The happiest surprise was the steam shower next to the pool. Even though there were plenty of showers in the rest of the house, we were taking turns using that one by the end of the weekend. Unfortunately, the sound in the theater wasn't working, but Matt was easy to reach and was prompt at getting someone out to get it fixed. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we come to Tahoe.

Overall another great trip!

Overall our stay was great! The property was as we expected from the pictures. We loved the layout, and the amenities (pool, game room, theatre)!!!! The location is a little far from town but it worked out. Not sure I would stay there in the winter... There are a few little things that could use some attention. For example, the sliding glass door off the kitchen needs a new screen. Some of the items in the kitchen are lacking but we made do. I will say that it was so unbelievably hot though without an ac or adequate ceiling fans. Thank God there were fans in each room but honestly, it was still miserable. The temperature was the only downfall really. I would stay again in the summer if there was some updates made like ac or more fans! Overall. We enjoyed our stay. The management company was amazing, the house was well represented on the site, as I mentioned the amenities were awesome, the neighborhood was quiet, the layout was perfect... thank you so much for opening your home for others to enjoy and take in all that Tahoe has to offer.

Overall a decent stay

The house was clean, the rooms and bathrooms were decently sized. Comfy mattresses. The game room was a great area for kids to play. Great water pressure and very hot water! The property manager was great! Not a fully stocked kitchen as described. Not enough utensils or food storage containers. For a house of that they should have it stocked for 14 people. Nozzle broken on the stove, dishwasher extremely hard to start. Not nearly enough towels. There were only 5 pool towels for a house of 14……no one on vacation wants to do towels over and over. The pool was not warm at all if you have young children. Top door doesn’t lock. The hot tub cover was so water logged you couldn’t lift it so only a few people could go in at a time. The basement is freezing cold while the upstairs was half hot on one side and cold on the other. For the price of this house we just expected a little more.

Great cabin for groups with kids (and kids at heart)

This cabin is located about 10-15 minutes away from Heavenly and many other activity hotspots from hiking to gambling. The house itself was perfect for my group of 14 (including 3 children ages 3 - 12). The kids enjoyed the pool, the adults enjoyed the hot tub. The dryer did not work properly after repeated cycles and failed to dry clothes. I think the wine glasses could use a refresh. Other than that, I’d recommend this location!

Great for family reunion

We stayed at the property for a week long family reunion and had a great time. Our family of 13 ranged from ages 3-73. The amenities were great, especially the pool during one rainy day that kept us indoors. We did have to call management a couple of times due to broken appliances, etc. But were attended to promptly. One negative experience, which is not the fault of the owner, was that we found dirty dishes tucked in between stacks of plates and bowls in the cupboards. It was clear that the previous renters had purposely left them hidden. Really hope they were kids who were playing a prank and not grown ils who need to grow up. One last suggestion would be placing some smaller utensils as this house is perfect for families but the younger kids had a bit of a challenge using the large spoons. :)

Best House in Tahoe

Everything we wanted and more for our family reunion! This house was stocked with everything we needed and was fun for all ages. The pool and arcade room was a hit with adults and kids and grandparents too! A special treat for any family gathering. The property manager was quick and responded to one issue we had within hours it was fixed. Lots of memories were made here. We will be back.

Possibly contracted Covid from house

We have been extremely careful about covid protocols for two years now. We isolated for 3 days before driving straight from Marin to the house. Didn't stop for gas or bathroom breaks. The house was great aside from the pool area not being well maintained, trash and glass around the hot tub and the hot tub not working. We called several times asking for it to be repaired. It was not fixed until 3 days later when we were leaving. We stayed 3 nights in the house and 2 days later came up symptomatic and positive for covid. I have tried to contact the management company to both notify them of the situation for future guests and to alert them to the delay with the hot tub repair. No response. The theatre was great except it was very very cold as compared to the rest of the house. We had to use 4 space heaters to make it usable for our family. Overall the house was great, but the lack of response and the issues mentioned were very disappointing.

Wonderful Home

13 of us, aged 6-72, rented this for the week between Christmas and New Year. However Mother Nature had other plans and the people before us were snowed in and we were snowed out. The rental company did an amazing job with their communication of the situation and went above and beyond for all parties! We were finally in two days later! The house itself was just as pictured. There was more than enough kitchen equipment as we cooked all but one meal since we were pretty snowed in after we got there. Be aware that they only provide starter kits ( like one) of TP, dish soap, garbage bags etc and there were no condiments not even salt and pepper. As someone else said there are many stairs but they were easily navigated and there are two bedrooms on the main floor if necessary. The home is before you get into Tahoe proper but is very close (even on snowy roads) to all Tahoe had to offer. North Star is just down the street for skiing. All in all we spent 5 days in this lovely home with 13 people and didn’t go crazy and we all had a great time! We swam, sat in the hot tub, played in the snow, played pool and the games (loud) watched movies and we took games and played as a family. A very nice holiday!

Family Vacation

We planned a family vacation to Lake Tahoe with our children and grandchildren and this property was a perfect fit for us. We had so much fun exploring the Tahoe area and then enjoyed all the amenities at the house. It had plenty of space for all of us, was clean, and was every bit as nice as the pictures on the website. I highly recommend this property for a family getaway.
