Cozy and bright this property was perfect for our girls weekend getaway. The house had everything we needed for 8 of us to stay comfortably. We loved the big window and dining table that looked out into the forest, the variety of books, games, & DVDs; and the kitchen was perfect for cooking for a crowd.

Excellent communication from the host. Delightfully unique home in a beautiful wooded setting. Enjoyed the screened-in porch, the long dining table that seated 10 adults comfortably, and the open concept of the kitchen/living room/dining room room/sitting room with beautiful natural light.

Peaceful weekend

A wonderfully appointed and peaceful house. Great location nestled in the woods with amazing views. Fireplace was amazing and plenty of room for our family of 10.

Weekend away

The property was nice, great for being in during the storms (though I wouldn't want to drive up the mountain in them).The couches on the main floor, the long table and view were amazing.A few too many repeated check-in instruction emails.

Great Reunion Spot

It was nice to be off the beaten path. It was an awesome, relaxing week. The home was comfortable with multiple spaces to be able to gather. The kitchen had everything we needed - and we cooked a lot! We enjoyed the community pool multiple times. We had no issues with the WiFi.

Homie stay

The cabin was spacious and comfortable. The only thing was the advertised hot tub in the posting was not available for use. I even checked before hand and was told it was available. I called the number provided for hot tub reservations and was told it was only available to the hotel guests. I told the manager what the pool/hot tub employees told me and never received a response back.

Shwarzer wald

This house was nicer than expected. It has multiple levels allowing for lots of space for all of us to spread out. The furnishings are a mix of mid century, antique and new items, blended together in a pleasing way. Even the books are interesting. A favorite spot was the screened in porch which is lined with colorful tealights; a fun place to sit in the evening and listen to the Whippoorwill calling at night. It's a short drive into town, which is cute and has everything you need. However they aren't kidding about poor internet connections in the area: one day we had to pay cash at the grocery store because the store had no internet connection. So bring some cash! I would stay there again.

House was well equipped, BUT

We did not realize the dining room was sunken and several members tripped and fell. This should be highlighted in the ad; because of this I would not rent that house again.
