Peaceful setting, comfy furniture in living room along with big soft blankets. Plenty of room. Outdoor spaces to sit. Overall a great place to stay. We would definitely rent again.

Cute little cabin with a great view of Carbon Lake! Secluded feeling while only minutes from SIU and yummy restaurants. Check out Blend Tea and Crepe Lounge if you are headed in that direction! Host was quick to respond whenever contacted. Can't wait to book another stay when we visit our college student next! Thanks Jocelynne!!

Absolutely amazingly soft towels and other linens. Beds were super comfortable. It worked great for us for the kids to have their own room downstairs.Best thing was the hosts have a book with all the restaurants and other attractions nearby. It was super helpful as we were looking at several u-pick flowers places and one was right nearby.The location was great for us. It was nice being in Murphysboro close to grocery stores, etc. However, there are neighbors. The location was not as remote or as central to Shawnee NF as some would like. We really liked the location. It is in Murphysboro, so close to grocery stor

The cabin had a nice, clean, cozy feel to it. The rooms were large while still feeling cozy. It was a nice drive/distance to giant city state park!

The cabin was exceptionally clean with numerous small but thoughtful touches. The 2 chairs on the deck are very comfortable! Our only suggestion is sonething in the upstairs bedroom for luggage. We had a large cooler and ended up putting our suitcase on that.

Cute rustic cabin with very responsive owner.

Rustic cabin over looking small lake. Great deck. Cute decor. Fabulous towels. Had a minor issue, but very responsive owner. Prettyneqneighborhood.

Our cabin is unique due to being in a wooden quiet area and still close to town. Lots of different wildlife, such as deer, turkey, bald eagles, owls, etc. can be seen around the cabin.
