Wake up to the soothing sound of waves at Rising Sun, a beachfront retreat that's pet-friendly. Spanning 1344 sq. ft., this two-story home features 2 comfortable bedrooms and 2 full baths, comfortably housing up to 8 guests.

- Your reservation includes $300 worth of beach and adventure gear rental! You will be able to shop for bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, or even beach carts. No need to find the rental company, your gear will be delivered to your beach house and will be waiting for your arrival.

Nice location. Just needs furniture updated, maybe better seating outside also, Great views. Nice place to stay if you enjoy a walk to the beach. weather was perfect. Thanks for letting us stay!

Great house and location

The only thing that we would suggest is to add some more pots and pans, so there’s only one small little frying pan and one small pot and one very large spaghetti pot

Our dog loved the beach and so did we. Beautiful sunsets! When we arrived dog poop was in several places near the grill and parking area so we picked it up. Nails are popping along with screws on the decking and stairs so all 3 of us encountered the pain of those. Only 2 usable chairs on the patio, the third was cracked, no table on patio. Beautiful house but couch is old and sags, uncomfortable. Frying pans are rusty and scratched up. A few coffee filters given as a welcome gift but they are the wrong type for the coffee maker. Location lovely and locals are great.

The setting and location of this cottage were great. The design of the space is excellent - I really enjoyed the views of the ocean from the kitchen and living room. We had a wonderful week staying here. However, there are a few critter issues - there were palmetto bugs and we noticed squirrels or some similar animal living under the floor/in the walls. I have photos of their entry location if you'd like me to share that with you. I was hoping there would be enough deck chairs for the four of us to sit on during the meteor shower, but alas only three chairs...It is time to invest in replacing parts of the deck. I learned not to use the railing on the steps to the beach unless I wanted to get another handful of splinters. Nails and screws were coming up in the decking - someone is going to seriously cut themselves one day if not fixed. It was comfortable for four people. The pull out sofa is a great idea, but not at all comfortable for a nights sleep.
