Everything is description was spot on! The waterfront view was amazing! We loved the baby crabs that would even come right up to patio!! We would absolutely stay again!

Stayed here for my son’s marine corps graduation. It is so close to the base which made the early mornings so easy! The property is spacious and clean and the decor is perfect and homey. But the view…it was absolutely stunning! Eileen and Jim are so kind and the best hosts I ever had. The next door neighbor to the right is very nice and gave us a bag of his homemade coffee that is fantastic!! I definitely recommend a stay here for Parris Island graduation and even for a relaxing get away vacation. You won’t be sorry. I did not want to leave!

Love, love, love this place. Great location. Very spacious. Well appointed kitchen. Peaceful and quiet area. Loved watching the river and the boats. Very near great restaurants. We had an issue with the ice maker and the host had it resolved very quickly.

Absolutely would recommend. Cozy, clean, outstanding view and so conveniently close to MCRD Parris Island for any family picking up their new marine as we did. Great communication with quick response. We look forward to coming back.

We definitely would stay here again if we ever have to go to that area again. It's close enough to everything that you need.But secluded enough that you feel far away from everything. It was a perfect location to the marine base parris island, So we could get to the base quick and easy. We were at the gates of the base within 5 minutes of leaving the house. It was great especially on the day that we had to be at the base at 5:30am.

Perfect for Marine Graduation

Being so close to Parris Island made this the perfect place to stay for US Marine Graduation. We enjoyed the water view. Everything was clean, organized, and easy to use. We would recommend this to any parents and grandparents visiting the area.

This stay was excellent! Perfect location for my son’s Marine Corps boot camp graduation week — literally 3 minutes from the gate at Parris Island! So convenient. And the home is absolutely lovely. Bedrooms are so spacious, and there’s lots of storage space. Living area/kitchen are also nice spaces, and the half bathroom on the main floor was very helpful, with 4 women (Mom, 2 sisters, and girlfriend of the brand new Marine) to get ready at once. The 2 full baths were conveniently located in the bedrooms. The only suggestions I can think of are: • A full size ironing board would be so much more practical/easier to use for ironing dresses for graduation or other long items. • The bath that has the separate sink area could use a curtain over the entrance, so one person getting up earlier or being up later won’t disturb the other, sleeping person with the light. • Only one bath towel per person wasn’t great. Women/girls typically like a towel for body and a towel for hair. Those of us with long hair especially can’t manage well with one towel — either you try to get a good amount of water out of your hair, and then dry your body with a wet towel, or you dry your body first, as your soaking wet hair continues dripping all over your body. And with hair my length, I could have also used a bit of a larger towel. Outside of those suggestions, everything was absolutely perfect! Thank you so much!

We are a family of 6 and understand that your vacation should be restful and your home should be stocked with amenities you appreciate like K-cups, regular coffee, waffle iron, pots and pans, cooking utensils, and baking amenities. If you want to cook, it should be enjoyable. If you want to order out and eat in, there are enough seats for everyone to come together and enjoy a meal together.
Additionally, this location reminds me of my parents who are no longer with us. My parents would have loved staying here. I hope you and your loved ones have positive memories from your stay, and we hope you want to return over and over again.

The Battery Creek area is so peaceful and relaxing. The water view includes sounds of lapping water and during low tide you might see dolphins! How awesome is that! The property can easily sleep 4 adults and children. We understand that your family needs to travel together. We also want the families of our Marine Graduates to be able to celebrate their accomplishments. With the perfect location just 2 minutes off the Parris Island entrance highway, your family will love relaxing here and making unforgettable memories.

Our property is just minutes off of Parris Island for our new Marine graduates! It is literally on the water, and you can relax by the water all day long. Drink a relaxing cup of coffee in the morning or a relaxing glass of wine in the evening on the patio. Watch the boats glide up and down the creek. There is also a public boat launch just up the street where you can launch boats, kayaks, or paddle boards. You can enjoy the water from outside the water or in the water!

For a fee to our HOA, you can park your boat in the area.
