Thank you so much for sharing your house with us! The house is very spacious and cozy, it fit our 3 families perfectly. The kitchen is well stocked and a dining table by the fireplace is big enough to gather around after a day of skiing. One of the highlights was a beautiful view from the great room - we enjoyed sitting by the sunlit windows there in the mornings.

The property was clean but miss represented. The property was advertised as ski-in ski-out it is 30 minutes from the ski area. It posts a hot tube, it had a dated jacuzzi bathtub. It boosts a game/arcade room which consisted of a foosball table and board games. The internet connect was non existent and the only TV was 20 years old. They post the property sleeps eight which it could but it barely had seating for four adults in any room. This was a beautiful property and it was clean but was not a property I would pay 1000.00 for two nights to entertain family. We were force to move our Thanksgiving dinner to another location.

Where Time Stands Still

Our stay was the perfect escape from busy city life. The property is a true gem, nestled in the middle of the woods with plenty of space for the kids to run around and explore. We especially loved the private park and pond—it was a wonderful way to experience nature and enjoy some peace and quiet.The house itself is huge and surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants. While some of the appliances and furnishings aren't the most modern, everything was clean and functional, providing all we needed for a relaxing, slow-paced vacation. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable.Our only suggestion would be to add an outdoor hot tub. That would be a fantastic addition and would make this already amazing property even better!

Fun Ski Weekend!

We recently stayed at Spectacular Garden Chalet for a weekend ski trip and had a fantastic time. The chalet was exactly as described: clean, and well-equipped. The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals after a long day on the slopes, and the living room was spacious enough for our group to relax and unwind by the fire. The basement offered a fun foosball table as well! Thank you for hosting us!

Beautiful stay

Our family enjoyed our stay in Wausau! This home is clean and well furnished. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of fresh towels and the kitchen was well stocked. With the snowy weather during our stay, having access to park in the attached garage was very nice. A card table would be nice for puzzles/games. We love doing puzzles, but this took up the dining table so we had to eat around the puzzle or sit at the kitchen counter. The location is quiet and serene, a perfect getaway spot! Fortunately, it is still conveniently close enough to a local Kwik Trip and grocery store to pick up necessities. All communication with the owners was prompt and courteous. A pleasure staying here and we will plan to stay here again in the future!

Beautiful getaway

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the gorgeous Garden Chalet property with our daughter and adult grandchildren. The house is spacious and stunning. The grounds are spectacular, standing out amid the natural beauty of the Wisconsin northwoods. The property offers splendid isolation from the chaotic world. Deer and a bounty of birds visited the yard while we were there, along with a hummingbird moth and an incredibly friendly neighborhood cat. It is a bit of a drive for groceries, but Wausau has just about anything you need for your vacation. The owners were very responsive to all our questions about the house. The only negative was the private pond, which appears less than inviting for swimming. However, the abundant wildlife do seem to appreciate the water. Having only one TV worked out, too, enabling us to spend precious time together.

Family reunion

Loved the place as soon as we pulled into the driveway. The grounds were gorgeous and watching the wildlife play in the yard was an added bonus. We played games and did crafts with our grandchildren and just reconnected with them. Highly recommend this lovely place.

Great Property

We came to ski for the weekend and loved staying at the Garden Chalet. It was spotless, kitchen had everything you need, plenty of space, comfortable beds. Will definitely come back when it’s warmer to take advantage of the gorgeous backyard and the trails!

Perfect place to getaway

This house is simply amazing! The house is tucked away in the woods with total privacy. The landscaping is nice and gives it a relaxing vibe. The inside is well-maintained, very spacious and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone traveling to the area!!

Peaceful

We loved the ground, it was beautiful. The home was very nice, spacious and worked well for our group. The only thing was the bathrooms, one in the master bedroom had no door. The other 2 bathrooms were very echoey, everyone outside the door can hear your business. So it was hard to find a place with privacy. But other then that, great home, I would stay there again, but I would bring some fans to drowned out the bathroom noises. 😊 Thanks for letting us stay there!

Great Location

Our recent stay met or exceeded our expectations in every way. The property is private and remote with plenty of outdoor space. The interior was very spacious and was equipped with everything necessary to enjoy your stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone that wants to get away from it all.

Quiet retreat

Very large yard with gogeous gardens, a cool pond. So quiet and peaceful. Great kitchen/dining for family gathering. Comfortable with 2 king suites, a fun kids room and one more nice queen room. Birding was awesome.

This house and grounds are like a park of natural beauty. The house slept 8 easily with room to spare. Everything was clean, tidy, simple and enough for everyone. Sitting on the deck with coffee, wine in the evening was heaven. Our adult kids played soccer and ran to their hearts content. Thank u Doris and Sanjeev!!

Great getaway

We stayed here to ski at Granite Peak. Since it was woodsie we went snowshoeing too. It was a great place to relax.

We enjoy cooking at home and on vacation. Staying at a hotel does not allow for healthy home cooked meals and a vacation home is thus much preferred for all our travels. The house in Wausau allows us to unwind and enjoy nature in the most beautiful and calm surroundings.
