Wonderful condo

Condo was clean and ammenities were accurate. Only complaint is the turtle grass at the beach. Otherwise it was a great stay. We are a diving family. Its close enough to the west end for diving and dining, but far enough away to escape busy boardwalk.

Dish Washer Issues

This is a very nice property and I would gladly stay there again. The only issue we had was the sink and dishwasher kept overflowing. It was a disgusting mess that maintenance couldn't fix and we had to keep on cleaning up. If they are going to continue renting this condo then it should be corrected in some way.

Outstanding

The pictures do not do this place justice at all. It is one spectacular property with a great view and excellent presentation. Everything was clean and in perfect condition. And I would say that the condo is far, far more impressive in person. The staff was courteous and accommodating, and the guards around the property gave us a feeling of safety and security. We came during low season, so we had the entire wing of our property section to ourselves. The upstairs pool is also dedicated to anyone who rents this unit, so my kids enjoyed that access. The private beach is another plus, though there is a lot of grass under the water, so you must wade out further to snorkel and swim. I would return to this property without hesitation. It was a fantastic rental.

Sanchez Family Roatan Vacation 2023

Through VRBO we found this gem of a location!! Finally, you actually get what the pictures show. We truly were taken back by the beautiful condo and breathtaking view from our patios. Our own private pool was the icing on the cake!! Let’s just say we know where we will be staying when we come back to Roatan!! Best Caribbean vacation!!

Everything was perfect. Beautiful views, beautiful property, great service. The only down side was the water was so overgrown with plant, it made swimming impossible.

Amazing

I don’t want to leave. This is the most beautiful place. We rented a car and I didn’t mind being out of the hustle of west end/bay. We would drive to west bay daily and park -takes about 15-20’min max. Quiet safe complex. The views you just can’t beat ! The rooftop pool is amazing and big enough for everyone to enjoy. Endless balconies. All the ammenities you’ll ever need. Eldons grocery is about 15 min east, Anthony’s Key is 4 min west. Close to what they say is one of the best hospitals as well. We LOVED Roatan and this location and will defiantly be back !

Paradise

My husband and I stayed for 8 days. The views are unmatched! The condo is absolutely beautiful with high end touches throughout. The views are breathtaking throughout the kitchen, living room and the bedroom, basically anywhere you looked. The private dock was a perfect sunset. The rooftop pool is great for private sunbathing as well as stargazing. The management Team (especially Jemmi) were helpful through the entire experience. The deli/market was a great bonus and my husband had the best Reuben sandwich he’s ever had. (The carrot cake is another must) The grounds were pristine and the on site security was always present. Already planning to come back!

Spacious Condo

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Angelfish 202. The condo was clean and spacious. We loved the rooftop deck and pool and had total privacy. There is great snorkeling on the reef but it is a bit of a swim to get there. We thoroughly enjoyed having cocktails on the sunset pier and met some lovely people that visit Roatan annually. The community is very peaceful and quiet but it is only a quick 10 minute drive into West End for great restaurants, etc. This was perfect for us but you do need a car. A few items that would have made our stay even better-the kayaks on the beach had holes and were not functional. It would have been great to kayak out to the reef and explore. The cookware could really use an upgrade. Overall, a wonderful experience and we would definitely choose this spot for a future trip.

Beautiful place!

We stayed 5 days and we didn’t want to leave this place. Our daughters 9 and 11 were so happy with the private swimming pool. 2 big bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was enough for us,. Lawson Rock is just 20min ride from west end and 27min From west bay. It’s quiet and you will feel safe at all times. I really recommend this place.

100% happy!

We were 100% happy and impressed with Lawson Rock. The property was clean, well-stocked, and in a great location. It had all the creature comforts US travelers will want (AC, washer/dryer, extra towels, etc.) We had morning coffee on the dock every morning which had a great view and built in couches. Location was great - far enough away from the hustle in West Beach but only a 10 minute drive. If you rent here, definitely plan to rent a car (I would rent regardless so you can easily explore the island.)

Great Stay

Property was clean, modern, and spacious - with unobstructed ocean views from the decks and most windows. The complex was well managed, the buildings and landscaping were beautiful. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet place to stay that's a short drive from the West End.

Amazing condo

We were so amazed by this beautiful condo. There’s a dive shop 3 docks away. This quiet side of the island was heavenly. It’s an easy taxi to west end and west bay. We loved the rooftop pool and amazing dock. Your able to enjoy the sunsets from the dock. The sun lit up the condo every morning. The security staff was excellent, friendly and attentive. The condo staff were very helpful. They also provided a Concierge’s service. We were able to have an excellent chef cook for us and they arranged island tour, airport pickup/drop off and tickets for the dolphin Encounter. The condo was well appointed, clean, cool, and beautiful. We are making plans to return

202 Oceanfront luxury in high-end secure location

My husband and I stayed in Angelfish 202 at Lawson Rock for 17 glorious days. The condo has everything you could imagine in a Caribbean getaway including 480 sf outdoor deck overlooking the ocean, with gas grill and plenty of outdoor seating. We woke up every morning to the incredible view of the tranquil ocean. There are two en suite bedrooms with another deck off the second bedroom which overlooks the lush tropical courtyard. The unit is well-equipped, tastefully decorated and immaculate with high quality mahogany wood cabinets and granite floors throughout. Central air available but with the fans and screens and Caribbean breeze it's not really necessary, but nice to have for those really hot days. There are one and two person kayaks available and we took those out and snorkeled the lively coral reef out front of the unit... and then the best part was coming back to chill on our completely private roof-top pool! Cannot believe the luxury accommodations we were able to experience at this huge condo in island paradise! Perfect for two couples or large family. Would highly recommend!

Everything you could want.

We arrived in Roatan but unfortunately our luggage did not. A driver was supposed greet us by our name at the baggage claim area and unfortunately he did not. These issues were both resolved and everything else about our stay was amazing! The staff was extremely helpful even making calls about our lost luggage on our behalf so that we could go scuba diving. The condo was perfect. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and evenings on the balcony. Visiting before the season, we had the beach and the dock to ourselves. Be advised of the sand flies and no see-ums. A hammock on the dock would be a great addition. Snorkeling in the area is great. Overall, our expectations were exceeded in every way possible and we cannot wait to come back.

Spacious, relaxing, and quiet place to spend your time in Roatan

The condo met all of our expectations and needs, surpassed only by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at Lawson Rock. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, a practically empty beach, and the wonderful reef just a kayak away. While the distance to West End required frequent taxi rides, a quick visit to West Bay reminded why we preferred a site further away from the crowd. If there were downsides, the sea grass along the shore precludes most swimming and the reef itself takes some effort to swim or snorkel to, but the coral is quite nice.

Amazing Place in the heart of Sandy Bay.

We recently stayed here for a week in January and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The people who worked at the checkIn made sure they’d be there for our arrival and monitored our flights progress. We rented a car but they would have arranged a car to come get us at the airport, which is only a few km away. Very easy to get to from the airport as there is only one main road. This was a wonderful place to rent that would be perfect for a family or friends traveling together. Two large bedrooms and three full baths give you all the space you need. We loved the full size kitchen and took advantage of the opportunity to make dinners at home. They gave us an extra tank of gas for the grill which was really nice. The pool was clean and there are a lot of balcony’s in the place. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we felt very safe there. There are security guards on duty all the time and they are very nice. We couldn’t recommend this place enough and hope to return again some day.

Beautiful Property with Great Ocean Views

We really enjoyed our 10 day stay at Lawson Rock. It was very quiet, clean and a perfect place to get away. This condo was perfect for a family with kids or even 2 couples staying together. There is plenty of room to spread out and be completely comfortable. The private pool with waterfall was a perfect size, beautiful and very refreshing! The kitchen seemed to have everything we needed! We were even welcomed with two 5 gallon jugs of water for cooking. We still purchased a couple cases of bottled water to have while we were out. During our stay, the restaurant was closed so we went into the West End or West Bay nearly everyday. If we were to do our vacation over again, we would have rented a car for the whole time. A car isn't completely necessary as there are taxis everywhere and ready to pick you up any time, but it did make it a little pricey to go back and forth if you wanted to clean up before your evening activities. We loved having the ability to call anyone we needed as we were provided with a cell phone for local calls to use as needed. We didn't use it much but it was nice to have. If you are looking for near by restaurants and night life, we would recommend staying closer to the West Bay or West End area. If you are looking for a quiet, secluded and beautiful property, we would highly recommend Lawson Rock.
