We were excited to stay at the Palace in MyrtleBeach.The actual building was clean but inside our unit was extremely filthy.The couch was stained as well as the pillows.Dirt/sand was everywhere including the kitchen counters and floors.We had to wear socks or sandals our whole stay or our feet would be stained black.But,they texted me multiple times during our visit reminding me not getting sand in their unit and to keep their unit tidy.(This was also in their contract).The flooring was falling apart in pieces. In both showers the knobs basically didn’t work. The hot and cold water didn’t working properly. The dining room set they had in the unit was in rough shape especially the one chair it was falling apart.Also,this company threatens to nickel and dime you during your stay.For their parking pass, pool bands, damages, and checking out late or checking in early.They emailed me two nights before our stay and said we could check in a day early if we wanted.But,we already had our flights booked so we didn’t.Then, the day before they said if you want you to check in an hour early let us know and we’ll charge you!An extra 50!Check in was already 4 pm.Which we knew it was vacant because they emailed me two days before.Our whole stay we felt we were walking on egg shells with big fish rentals.Positive feedback:The palace was steps from the beach. We liked the pools/jacuzzi’s.It was 1 mile from Family Kingdom park.Close to stores/ restaurants/airport.Great view from the balcony.
