Close to Caltech, Rose Bowl, JPL, Art Center & Old Town, plus walking distance to CVS and Trader Joe’s, yet tucked in a quiet neighborhood.

Perfect Retreat

This was the perfect location for a long weekend. We were able to visit CalTech, the beach, and the Getty in one weekend. The house is located in a beautiful neighborhood with easy parking. The house had all the basics. It was clean and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here for anyone who wants to relax and still feel at home.

There were many great things about this place. It is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed at. We loved the warmth of the place and the piano in the living room was really awesome. Easy to access and plenty of parking. Great location close to a mall and food places.The reason we gave it a 3.5 is because on our second day there was a sewage smell coming from both restrooms. The manager who had been helpful did not offer to send anyone to check it out. If this had been offered, the rating would have been higher. We instead bought scented candles. This put a damper on our stay.

Not understand this. We got 3 5stars from other Airbnb guests in May right before her stay( May 30- Jun 4)…..on the 3 day of her stay ( Jun 3rd)she sent text messages saying she got sewage smells from bathrooms and recommended us to have sewer lines checked after they moving out. We asked her if she found any place wet and she said the curb by the street is wet…… we told her that is the sprinkler which doesn’t affect her bathroom. On the check out morning (Jun 4th)she called asking for a credit because of the sewage smell, We told her that we will have a plumber to check up the pipe and we will consider some credit if plumber finds something wrong. We called a plumber and he checked both bathrooms in unit and underneath in the crawlspace and found nothing leaking. We just have another Airbnb guest checked in on the same day she Checked out ( June 4th) and we followed up with our new guest asking if anything needs to be addressed and got the answer: everything is perfectly fine and they love the place…..

Very nice residential neighborhood

Enjoyed walking at night and felt very safe doing that. Trader Joe was close so good for shopping. The house was spacious and the linens were top quality. Great washer/dryer combo. If you are a pianist, keeping up with piano here would be easy. Manager was very responsive.
