Great place to stay in Grand Bend

The only house with a pool in Grand Bend so you have your choice of your own pool or the beach.

Thank you Hugh for the 5 Star review. Yes the private heated pool is a major benefit with being able to even use it on cool/windy days, have your own drinks, your own food all within steps of the cottage plus no crowds. Thanks David

This is a beautiful property. The owner definitely takes a lot of pride and care in his property. The only downfall was the amount of rules that were in place. None of the rules were discussed until we paid in full, so no opportunity to cancel. When we got there, there was a whole booklet of rules to read through. Absolutely no music outside. We would have loved to bring small speaker outside by the pool, or have a fire in the fire pit at night. But the noise rules were very strict and clear. No outdoor noise after 8pm and absolutely no music outside at all. Although there is a large driveway, cars had to be parked on a side parking area that was very tight if you have a truck. There was a very limited supply of towels, if we had of known we would have brought our own.We asked about a late check-out (and we were willing to pay extra) but there was no flexibility on check in or check out times at all. Overall, it's very spacious, location is fantastic and it is well kept. However, we felt like we were on edge about all the rules the entire time we were there.

The guidelines for outdoor noise, music, firepit use, and parking are not arbitrary; they are required to comply with local bylaws, safety regulations, and neighborhood standards. These policies are essential for protecting the property, ensuring community compliance, and maintaining consistent experience for all guests. As such, they must be followed without exception. Check in and check out times are determined by the scheduling needs of our cleaning staff, and last-minute adjustments are not always possible. I appreciate your understanding of this point. The full set of rules is provided to every guest, and I will review the timing and clarity of how this information is communicated to ensure expectations are fully understood prior to arrival. Wonderful Stay!

David was a wonderful host, provided helpful tips and detailed tour. The property itself was fantastic. Great pool, large property and fully equipped. Overall, we had a great time and can’t wait to visit again.

Amazing mini get away!

Our stay was spectacular. The cottage was very clean with a beautiful lay out. The heated pool was the highlight of our trip. Couldn't have asked for a better mini vacation to stay at. David was very helpful and available at all times. Will definitely come back again.

Gorgeous huge place with all of the immeneties you could ask for

This place is awesome! Huge property, tons of rooms and you don't have to bring a lot other than towels and food! The owner is very accommodating and easy to work with. A bit of a walk from the main beach but nothing too out of the way to be walked. Great prices for beginning of summer season aswell!

When I share recommendations with guests, it comes from a lifetime of experience and genuine love for this place. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of meeting incredible people from all walks of life. Some guests have become repeat visitors who feel like extended family. There's something special about receiving messages months later with photos from their stay or hearing how our cottage became the highlight of their vacation. Managing multiple properties has taught me so much about hospitality. Both my river executive home and pool cottage represent years of careful planning and investment. Sharing these spaces with others and seeing their genuine appreciation for the amenities and location fills me with pride.
