Wonderful

We had a lovely stay at Anita's property, the view from the roof deck was amazing. The home was equipped with everything we needed. The location was convenient to all the places we wanted to go and visit. The beds were comfortable and there were 7 of us total staying and there was plenty of room for us all. I highly recommend staying at Anitas place, she was available for anything we needed and check in was very easy with just a code for the door before arriving at anytime you get in. Great stay would definitely stay here again.

Location was great. Host communicated well especially closer to rental start. Parking behind building was a bit tricky, hit or miss depending on how others parked the car, but we survived with a Traverse with scratch to the front bumper!Wish the property was given to us a bit cleaner, sheets had hair on them, we had to wash them all ourselves. The bathroom on the first floor had a distinctive bad odor, we could not use it.

Unclean with broken furniture

Was very disappointed to see property was not maintained as in the photographs. The white furniture and carpet were stained and filthy. The pullout sofa was broken. They shoved dirty towels and foam inside of it to try to prop up the cushions. There were greasy handprints on all the doors and the floors were sticky. There was extremely loud construction going on next-door from 7 AM to 7 PM. We could not use the rooftop balcony because of construction workers and noise.I contacted the owner to ask her why we were not told about the broken pullout bed and construction going on next store. She told us she knew about the broken bed, but just assumed we wouldn’t want to use it. As for the construction, she said it’s an urban area and that we just had to deal with it. We still have not received a refund for one night owed to us because of a scheduling issue. The owner said Orbitz would refund us but still has not. very disappointed in the maintenance of this property.

Very difficult and dishonest guest whom I would never host again. She messed up the check in date herself, arrived one day earlier than expected, put me in panic, but I tried to offer help to find another place for one night. The next day I allowed her drop off bags very early, no appreciation. Once check in, she complained everything. The construction noise, the stairs, the cleaniness, the couch, etc. I explained to her about everything patiently. For example, there's nothing I can do about the construction noise. And stairs are shown clearly on all the pictures. The couch is in useable condition, the pull out bed is broken by a previous guest, and I've ordered a new one (BTW, it's replaced already). Since they only have 5 ppl, and the place is a 3 bedroom for 6ppl, I didn't expect them to use the pull out bed. But if they need, I do have a spare foldable bed she can use. As for the refund, since you messed up the date yourself, I could choose not to refund you at all based on the policy. But I was nice enough and agreed to provide you a full refund of one night. VRBO, unlike Airbnb, does not refund automatically, so I called them and waited in long line to reach them for the refund. She did receive the email from VRBO for the confirmation, and she acknowledged it. Which she didn't mention in the review at all. Never would host this guest again.
