Unfortunately the house did not match the photos & it didn’t meet our expectation's.There was cleanliness within but other issues in the overall appearance. The entry way, back porch, & yard was not maintained. There was wood rot, mold/mildew, and a lot of cobwebs. The initial entry to the mud room was cluttered with bags of salt, a broken hook & documents left by vendors who visited the house. The posted photos of the back porch were cute and cozy but currently the wood porches are very mildewed, potential rotten spots & the green cover over the porch is busted and not clean. We avoided this area.The linens were clean for the beds but towels were a dingy white & stiff. Their shower curtain liner in the front bathroom was covered in pink mildew. There were obvious cobwebs in the kitchen area & some in the front bathroom under the shelving, less obvious. There were soft spots in the flooring, especially the kitchen, and the wood floor laminate is cracked. The dishwasher looked gross on the inside. Clutter in closets from random house projects. Ac was being handle with a portable system and random fans throughout the house. I think the main unit was on but didn’t keep up. Mildew on the portable unit and ceiling vents.Preference wise, the furniture sat low and was flimsy. Our 80 yo parents struggled to have a decent seat. Multiple single steps from room to room created trip hazards. We definitely overpaid for this rental and were happy to checkout this morning.
