Quiet & Peaceful "Summers' Love" Retreat

Please read before booking
Nestled in the trees in a peaceful South Eugene hilltop neighborhood. Drenched in light with 10 skylights. 5 miles from the U of Oregon. This is a quiet and serene atmosphere for you to completely unwind with all the comforts of home.

This space has all the magical whimsy your heart could desire. With great energy all around. Awe inspiring for the child in us all.
The primary suite is beach inspired while the second room is set in the forest. In the primary suite, if you leave the East facing curtains open you can wake up to rainbow dancing around the room.

Wildlife and fairy friendly gardens, with special spots to discover an enjoy. All around strategically planted bamboo to create an intimate serene atmosphere. Some mornings deer and turkeys may wander through foraging on plums.

Also a safe space for children to play and parents to relax. Let us know in advance and we will put out age appropriate toys for them to enjoy.

If you like to run, walk or explore we have access right out the door. There is playground with swings, basketball hoops and a track just up the hill. Our place is easy to access for most mobility needs. Great for multi-generational travels.

Great spacious kitchen open to all the action, with a convection oven for baking. If there's anything you need just contact us we are across the street.

If you want to book a massage to come to the house during your stay that can also be arranged.

Want a special space to create memories, if you have some ideas reach out and ask, We are willing to work with you.

*If you are looking for a wild party spot, keep going, this is not the place. Quiet times are after 10pm. We have wonderful neighbors who watch out for the safety of all.

Please no shoes or wet gear in the house, there's space to leave outside, slippers provided. Mike recently refinished the floors so we are protective.
Please don't flush anything other than toilet paper in the toilets.
There is no maid service so you will need to pick up after yourself.

Very cool property with a friendly host. They surprised the kiddos with an adventure search which was a big hit. Very clean and inviting and a unique stay. Highly recommend

Perfect place to stay for a game

Some friends and I stayed here while in town for a Ducks game. The hosts communication was great and the stay was enjoyable.

Beautiful

This house was absolutely beautiful and the scenery was amazing!!! Very comfortable and cozy, especially with the heated floors in the bathroom. I would absolutely stay there again. Not to mention, the beds were extremely comfortable

A Tranquil Place

Summer’s Love was such a wonderful place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Tia, our host, was so kind and made us feel welcome and at home. It was the perfect retreat for our quick getaway. It was so peaceful and the hammock was great for a quick late afternoon cat nap after a long day of travel.

The name says it all!

The hosts, who live close by, brought me fresh flowers for my birthday--that says everything about Tia and Mike! The house is a marvel of design! You enter down a ramp through a bamboo forest with a rope of bright lights. DO NOT WEAR YOUR SHOES INTO THE HOUSE! Plentiful slippers are by the door. Giant gourmet, well-equipped. A/c & windows that open. W/D. Yummy glorious bedroom and AMAZING full bath with radiant heat floors. We didn't use the outdoors much, but there is ample outdoor seating front and back. We will always come back here when we visit Eugene.

We decided to splurge a bit on our recent trip with a really nice place to stay and our expectations were blown out of the water. I had to double check how much we had paid because this is the nicest vacation rental we had ever stayed in! The finishes all felt very high quality and the whole house was set up with comfort in mind. The place is huge and surprisingly private! The location is great in the south hills and the neighborhood is super cute as well!We really enjoyed the private hot tub space and all of the great places to hang out outside. It really felt like a little refuge for us to recharge!

It's a beautiful property and Tia and Mike are very responsive to texts. The hot tub is amazing and the accomodations are welcoming!

As a couple we enjoy rock climbing, snowboarding and traveling. When we are not traveling we like to meet other travelers.

This neighborhood is the best! I bought and fully renovated this house 20+ years ago, it was our primary residence till a few years ago when we started a new project across the street. All the neighbors stop and talk to each other, it's great!

This property is in the middle of a bamboo forest. There are doors from almost every room and the ten skylights, so it can feel like you are living outside. All the doors can be opened for a living outside feeling.
Inside is cozy with the gas fireplace and the heated tile floors in the bathroom.
