Another incredible evening on the back deck with a glass of wine at the Wayfarer Cottage- you’ll be so glad you came! This super clean cottage is the perfect spot for a well deserved rest. Ideally located near the Pinery Park and the crystal waters of Lake Huron in desirable Van Dongen subdivision of the wonderful beach town of Grand Bend.

As soon as you walk in the door, you will know that you have found the right place for your vacation. Quality furnishings and ample rooms are a hallmark of this cottage. Out back, enjoy the large backyard with it’s large deck, lovely trees, fire-pit, horse shoes and of course, the natural gas BBQ.

Rainy afternoon? Why not take in a movie on the large screen TV? Meals are a joy to prepare as you move around the kitchen making that dish you’ve been waiting to try out. A Pinery Pass is included with your stay so you can sun yourself on the beach, hike the trails or rent a kayak at this beautiful provincial park. Or take a short drive and eat out at one of the many excellent restaurants and cafes in Grand Bend or Bayfield! Lots to do in this area!

The Wayfarer cottage has just been renovated with new flooring and trim. The cottage features 3 Bedrooms, each having 1 Queen Bed. Why not book a week or two nights today? You deserve it!

Amazing Stay!

Quiet and relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed staying in this place. They have everything you need! The booking and checking in was very easy and had a smooth transaction with the property manager. Paul was accommodating and always checking us.

What beautiful, comfortable and clean home! I wish we had more time to be there to enjoy it! I'd definitely and confidently recommend this place. We hope to be able to come again & stay longer. I feel lucky to have found this place! Paul was a polite and helpful host. Easy check in, kitchen had everything you could need, even a coffee pot. 10 stars!

Quiet and wonderful stay

Clean, quiet, and mostly renovated. Really enjoyed the cottage and being close to the Pinery Provincial Park (appreciated the Seasons Pass included). Appreciated the AC and the internet access (the internet access did go off though, so had to get help). All the furniture looks nice like the photos show, but the dining room chairs and some of the mattresses may need upgrading. The cottage had a washer and dryer in the kitchen, but I didn’t use them, since the property manager told me they weren’t included. -
