Come right in and relax! Lots of comfy furniture to relax on. Gather around the dining table and you will enjoy wonderful meals with your gang! Not cooking?
Everything in the Village of Port Albert is within short walking distance: The beach, The fish ladder, the Nine Mile River, The Walking bridge.

Mary’s cottage is located on a large lot and can be rented with The Pine Grove, across the road, for larger groups. The cottage has 1 Queen, 1 Double and 2 Twin beds.
Monthly rentals in the off season are available! Please ask.

Property is as advertised. Quiet street, near a cozy beach and just a short drive in to Goderich.

This property was perfect. The cottage is light and airy, lots of windows. Beautiful views. We spent our time mostly in the sunroom, with coffee on the deck daily. Great location.

Just spent a week at Mary's Cottage. Found the host and associates to be very accommodating. The cottage was quaint and cozy, but really only comfortable for about 4 people. The lack of air conditioning made it somewhat uncomfortable for sleeping simply because the outside temp was in the 30's during the day. The area was safe and the beach was only a couple minutes away, so that helped. If you're looking for a quiet relaxing stay away from home, I would recommend staying there, but don't forget to bring a couple of fans.

My wife and I spent 5 days in mid June at Mary's Cottage. The cottage was perfect size for the two of us, with the front room being my main domain. The weather did not cooperate with our stay with an all day rain the one day and cooler temperatures on another 2 days, so our enjoyment of the the outdoor area of the cottage was very limited. We can see that the outdoor area would be well used when the weather is better. There is a mix of sunny and shady areas for your outdoor comfort. The area is quiet with a small amount of street traffic. We did enjoy a short walk to the lake and a stroll up and down the beach. We found the cottage clean and comfortable. Our host touched base with us after we checked in to ensure everything was to our satisfaction and to let us know that we can contact him anytime. The town of Port Albert is a bedroom community with no retail which did not bother us at all. We spent Saturday morning in Godrich, at the weekly market and the Monday we went north to Kincardin. We did not realize that Kincardin has a market on Monday's so we were able to enjoy a tasty lunch there instead of heading into a restaurant.All in that being said the cottage was a perfect get away for my wife and I and our host made the experience very easy.
