This cottage is all about the view, which does not disappoint. We spent most of the time just enjoying the many moods of the lake and all the birds flying by at eye level. Including eagles, great place to chill.

A cute and cozy cottage with a great view. Very private back yard and deck. Neat and tidy inside and out. Very quiet and well kept community, everyone was friendly. The host was informative and easy to reach. A great place for a rest and re-set. For those looking for quiet and a great view this is the place. For those looking for beach and water fun it has that too but there is a bit of a walk to get to the water, the trail is rocky and steep so it will be hard for small children and the elderly, the beach is rocky and not very sandy and going in the water is difficult due to a rocky lake bottom. We spent most of our time on the back deck soaking up the sun, listening to the quiet splash of the waves and staring at the beautiful view!

Great location. Close to amenities, but far enough away to feel secluded. Quiet neighborhood with excellent view. Nice private beach, a short walk away. Older cottage, on a nice property. Would love to go back some day.

Great location close to town. Beautiful views of the lake with added bonus of 2 eagles flying around. Only negative is you have to bring your own sheets and towels so it’s not a total vacation from daily life. Great communication from the owner very accommodating especially with a later check out which we really appreciated,

Cottage was very clean everything was fresh and organized for our stay. Went for a weekend and has a beautiful view and short walk down to a private beach. Didnt see anyone down there. Price point was perfect for our weekend getaway thanks.

The view at Fiddler's Green is spectacular and the cottage is cozy. Paul was extremely responsive to our texts. We had a newborn with us and the cottage was clean. Thanks for a lovely long weekend with our new granddaughter!

This property had a spectacular view of Lake Huron from its beautiful deck. We enjoyed sitting on the deck with a cold drink enjoying the view. We enjoyed our time at the cottage playing both indoor and outdoor games. It is a double lot so lots of room for games and we enjoyed using the fire pit. The beds were comfortable although I believe the one we slept in was a double not a queen size bed. The cottage on the whole was clean however we had to wash some dishes before using. The smart tv was a bonus as we were able to watch our hockey game. The only thing that dampened our enjoyment was the ant problem. We entered the cottage with ants on the kitchen table and a stream of ants in the bathroom. We bought ant traps which our host offered to pay for. However we were only there for two nights so it was not pleasant having to deal with this while on vacation.

These are not complaints- just observations to be aware of. The bedrooms are very small so be prepared to climb over the bed if you are a couple. Also, the stairway down to beach was gone (not your fault) so there was no beach access near.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience and had to leave with our 2 dogs after a long drive …due to the sound of rodents living in the bulkhead above the kitchen cabinets…running back and forth and chewing .We noticed it the minute we sat down to relax and left immediately…Host was not helpful … and refused our money backVery disappointing :(

As soon as we received your message, we took your concern seriously and had a licensed pest control professional attend the cottage first thing the following morning. After a thorough inspection, they found no signs of mice or rodent activity inside the cottage. They did suspect, based on the description, that the noise may have been squirrels running on the roof—something that can occasionally happen in wooded cottage areas. We strive to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all of our guests, and we're truly sorry that this experience caused you to leave early. As a gesture of goodwill, we would be happy to host you again for the same time period next season at no charge. We’d love the opportunity to provide you with the peaceful and relaxing getaway you were hoping for.

The place was clean and the host checked in with us during our stay, which we appreciated. That said, a few essentials were missing. There was only three toilet paper rolls, and no body wash or shampoo. Little things like that really make a difference and are usually standard in most places we’ve stayed.The pull-out couch was also really uncomfortable, so just something to be aware of if you’re counting on that for sleeping.The beach nearby is beautiful, but very rocky, it made it a bit tough for the kids to enjoy. Also, if you’re traveling with little ones, note that the property is on a bit of a cliff with a steep drop.Overall, it was a good stay, but a few thoughtful touches would have made it even better.

The cottage is exactly what you see in pictures. The views alone are worth the trip.Cottage had everything you would need, bbq worked. Unfortunately the gas stove was out of commission and would have been nice on cool nights.Bonus was watching the Eagle family teaching their young Ealge. All in all very good holiday…Thank you

The view here is even better than the pictures show! The cottage is small, but as we only had 2 people we had plenty of space. The property was surprisingly quiet and private even though there are neighbors on either side - it truly feels like you're in your own private world. A few things to note - the back yard has a fairly steep drop off, so if you're travelling with children, you'll need to keep a close eye on them. Also, the path to the shared beach is quite steep and rocky (stairs are being built, but were not completed when we visited). Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely recommend!
