Cool vintage house

Our host was incredible and was easy to communicate with. The house is a older home with tasteful updates. Very comfortable, very functional, and lots of character. Perfect for a weekend away. You can't beat the location!

I appreciate the kind words, Cole! I also agree about the charm and character of this restored home. I have a few other brand new ones in other premium locations, but this one is our favorite!

So much better than a hotel

My colleague and I needed lodging for an education conference, and hotels were so expensive for 2 people for 3 nights. This house was adorable, allowed my colleague and I to have our own space (I took over the downstairs to have my own bathroom - she had a room upstairs and that bathroom was hers alone), and it cost LESS for us to stay there. It is in a cute neighborhood very close to the river and downtown. If we go to the conference next year, we will plan to stay here again if it's available. Enchanting back yard, so much character in the house. The downstairs has 2 twin beds, so if you are needing extra privacy, you will trade it for bed size. That was fine for me, but I imagine some people might want to know that.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review! We’re thrilled that our home provided a comfortable and cost-effective option for you and your colleague during the education conference. It’s great to hear that you each had your own space and enjoyed the charm and character of the house, as well as the enchanting backyard. We appreciate you mentioning the twin beds downstairs—it’s always helpful for future guests to know what to expect. We'd be delighted to host you again if your travels bring you back for the conference next year. Thanks again for choosing to stay with us!

I was so happy with this charming craftsman home! It has curb appeal for days with a covered porch perfect for enjoying the sunny Bend weather. The inside of the home is furnished with high quality furnishings and decor and everything needed for a getaway stay. The home is much larger inside than it looks and the layout is extremely functional for group get togethers. The location is close to downtown, the river and Hayden Homes which made our weekend plans so easy. The hosts provided clear details and helpful/timely information. I will definitely look to rent this home again.
