Relax with the whole family at this cozy pet friendly house. Tucked away in a quiet secluded subdivision right off a major highway. Minutes away from multiple large lakes, parks, great food, shopping, and entertainment.
20 minutes from downtown Kansas City, 10 minutes from Cheifs and Royals stadiums, 5 minutes from Cable Dahmer Arena.
Whether going to the lake, sporting event, concert, visiting kansas city attractions or hanging out on our beautiful well lit patio, we'd love to have you.

PLEASE NOTE that as a pet-friendly home, there will be an added fee to bring along your furry friend. When booking, make sure to mark the box asking if you are traveling with pets.

The house was perfect for our needs. Comfy beds, ample living area and a nicely furnished kitchen. The dogs enjoyed the fenced yard. Nice neighborhood for a walk and convenient to grocery and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.

Plenty of space for our group of 6 adults. The futon in the living room could use replacing as one corner of the back of it was bent/broken so we didn't trust it would hold anyone sitting or leaning back on that side. But other than that, the place was neat, clean and nice. The hosts were responsive and the neighborhood was quiet.

Quick stay for Chiefs game

Clean and well appointed property. We enjoyed the coffee bar and gift bag which was a bonus. The owners were very attentive and quick to respond to messages. Location was perfect for visit to the Chiefs game. Would definitely stay again!

Very clean & comfortable. A thoughtful goodie bag awaited us. The kitchen has everything you need. Neighborhood was safe.

Very comfortable, “homey” feel. The owners were very responsive, and provided all and extra amenities. Even provided a gift bag. This will definitely be my choice when I go back.

Our stay at this vrbo was our worst one yet! The house initially looked clean, but as we used the spaces, it needed a good cleaning. The mattresses were hard and no one got good sleep on this trip b/c of the beds. One of the couches was so cheap and flimsy, it was hard to enjoy family time b/c there was no where to sit comfortably. We had an issue with a pet fee with the host (it is a long story) but know the host didn't make their description on vrbo listing transparent . Every other vrbo listing that we looked at had a clear statement of fees you pay for their pet fee for staying and theirs had none listed. Once we arrived, they sent us a bill for a pet fee. We spent the better half of one night going back and forth with them about the fee. They were so over the top and so rude. It was really unbelievable dealing with a host that was so petty, especially when it was their own description that got them into this mess. Bottom line, their customer service should be better and just the way they messaged us and gave us an ultimatum with a two hour window that if we didn't pay, we were cancelled. So at 9pm we were supposed to take our family of 6 and leave. I wouldn't stay with this vrbo host. When it comes to money, that is all they care about. They seem nice with things like a little welcome gift, but if you mess with anything finacially, they are rude and less than helpful!

Leaving KCMO

We used this place as our final “residence” as we packed up our house and moved East. Heather and Matthew were quick to respond to questions and offered some helpful information as they remembered. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area for a short or longer stay.

Updated lake house

Perfect place to stay for our trip to Kansas City. The property had everything we could have needed. Updated space with lots of room for everyone. Outdoor space was great. The property owners were easy to communicate with and even had a small gift for us. Highly recommend

The stay overall went well and was a good location for our visit. My only complaints were that it could’ve been a little cleaner and that the finishes seemed very DIY/thrown together. Flooring had gaps and bowed in places that could be a trip hazard. Overall it has potential to be a great place to stay, just needs a few tweaks.

It is adequate. We only slept there for the most part. It is alittle rough around the edges. It is an older doublewide mobil home that they have fixed up. It was comfortable enough.

The location is close to the stadium, which is great. The walls are paper thin can hear everything. Most of all the floor is rotted and sagging in multiple areas. It is not that safe for little one to crawl.
