Ol' Surf Shack! hot tub! Sleeps 10! Second Dog stays FREE in Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb!

This spacious beach house has room to sleep 10 w/ a fenced yard for fido & a private pool for the fam! We recently added a 6-person hot tub and a fire pit as well. This unique home is currently being updated; therefore, you may encounter updated furnishings upon arrival. See photos descriptions for any planned changes! This home is located in the Crescent Beach area of North Myrtle Beach, about halfway between Barefoot Landing & the popular Main Street! Quick walk to the beautiful beach! Golf carts & motorcycles allowed, free parking for up to 4 vehicles.

From the outside this home looks like a normal small ranch house, but don't let that fool you! There's plenty of space inside! This ol house has some real charm! From the high arched ceilings with exposed beams to the paneled walls, it's got that classic beach house feel. Skylights, bright and light fun colors, plus lots of windows induce happy vibes! You may even feel nostalgic as memories from visiting the beach as a kid come flooding back!

*This is a new listing, and we wanted to get photos up asap. I understand that the place looks a bit bare. When you arrive, there will likely be more decor- throw pillows, artwork on the walls, more bedside lamps, and just little things to make the home feel more "homey" :)

LIVING ROOM: We have a large leather couch and a dual reclining loveseat for your comfort. There's a large flat screen TV mounted on the wall, coffee and end table, skylights and a ceiling fan!

DINING AREA: The dining area comfortably seats up to 10 when the extra leaf is put in. We added more chairs, plus we have some folding chairs for the larger groups who like to all sit down for a meal together.

KITCHEN: All new stainless steel GE appliances, including dishwasher. The kitchen is fully stocked with dinnerware and pots and pans for cooking.

LAUNDRY ROOM: Fairly new washer and dryer.

BACK BEDROOM/FAMILY ROOM: large bedroom at the back of the house with a double bed and some seating space, along with a TV. This might be a good place for the kiddos to watch a movie while the adults watch something in the living room.

OTHER BEDROOMS: There is one bed per room. Total of 2 king bedrooms (one is a split king sleep number with adjustable firmness and adjustable head/feet). Total of 2 queen bedrooms (one is a sleep number with adjustable firmness) In the family room there is a full size bed (this may be switched to a day bed with trundle in the future). Each bedroom has a flat screen TV with streaming options. Please note you must log in to your own accounts. We do not offer cable, but there are some free roku channels, etc if you don't have any streaming accounts. There are ceiling fans in each room.

YARD: The backyard is fenced in with a large inground pool (can be heated in spring and fall for $25/day) and a recently added hot tub to enjoy! It's big enough to bring your yard games, too! We also have a couple of picnic tables if you want to eat outside.

BATHROOMS: One of them is outdated, but functional! The toilets are actually new! Throwback bathrooms can be fun though, right? Who doesn't love peach colored tile?!

Things to note:
CHECK-OUT: We will not be able to offer late check-outs in the spring/summer. Even if we don't have a guest arriving the day of your departure, we must have the unit prepared for a last-minute booking. Furthermore, our cleaners stay busy and have tight schedules, so we need to adhere to the check-out times in order to allow for our cleaners and inspectors to go home to their families at a decent hour.
ENTRY: You must climb steps to get into the home.
There is one bedroom that requires 2 steps down for entry, and another step down to get to the back of the room for storage.
SAFETY: Families are welcome, but the home is not baby-proofed. Some floors are not completely level and there are some steps up or down (or a slight slope) here and there. Bring your own safety devices such as walkers, canes, etc and keep children out of rooms with free-standing closets. The light in the pool does not work.
COMFORT: We have central heat/air in most of the house. Two of the bedrooms have their own heating and cooling devices (wall unit in one room and portable A/C unit in the other).
TRASH: We have a city trash can. We have a separate recycle can as well. If you are staying on trash day (typically Wednesday unless it's a holiday week).
POOL (and Hot Tub): No running, diving, horseplay, no glass anywhere near the pool or hot tub. No food in the pool or hot tub. Use swim diapers on babies/children who cannot verbalize the need to get out and use the restroom. There is no lifeguard therefore you and your group will be swimming at your own risk. No children under the age of 5 in the hot tub. No children under the age of 14 (or people who cannot swim) should be allowed in the pool or hot tub unless supervised by an able-bodies adult who can swim. No dogs in the pool or hot tub.
QUIET HOURS: 11pm-7am. This home is located on a residential block with full-time residents on either side. You must be respectful of quiet hours.
SET-UP OF HOME: This home is unique, and all 5 bedrooms CAN BE private, however the family room (we call it the back bedroom) is a bit unique. Doors can be closed to make it private, but typically that room will be used to access the backyard.
PETS: We welcome up to two dogs for a fee of $125 (you may inquire about extra), but we must approve them first. They must be UTD on shots and cannot be considered an aggressive breed (insurance does NOT cover full or mixed breeds of the following: Pit Bulls, Dobermans, Rottweilers, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Chows, Bull Mastiffs, Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes, Wolf-Dog Hybrids, Great Danes, St. Bernards, Aikitas, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, farm or ranch animals, any attack, non-domesticated, or guard dogs, any non-domestic or exotic animal). They must be housebroken. If you are found bringing in an unauthorized pet, the PET FEE WILL BE DOUBLED. If the pet is considered a nuisance, aggressive breed, or more pets than allowed are found to have entered the home without authorization- your stay could be cancelled without refund. Dogs must be crated if left alone in the home and should not be left alone in the yard. This is to discourage leaving a mess behind, digging holes, falling into the pool, or becoming a nuisance to the neighbors. Please also see house rules regarding pets. Sorry. we will not be accepting cats at this time.

**We provide one set of towels per guest. As a courtesy, we also provide a starter pack of amenities, such as soap, TP, paper towels. These items will not be replenished, and we do not offer mid-stay housekeeping.

Please note:

-We will not be held responsible for things out of our control, such as pool, hot tub, weather, your travel plans, illness, temporary utility outages, etc.
-If you do not purchase travel insurance, you will be subject to our cancelation policy should you decide to leave early, arrive later, or cancel your stay.
