もともと時間の流れが少し遅くなったときにジョーが元々建てたもので、夏の日は互いに溶け合って、家族や友人が夕方の風の恩恵を受けながら軽い会話とカクテルを楽しむためにポーチに集まりました。 この素敵で更新された1950年代のプライベートホームは、シンプルな時間に戻って、良い本でくつろぎ、靴なしで生活し、絶対に島を離れる必要がない限り車に乗る必要はありません。
家に入ると、オリジナルのハートパインの床、むき出しの梁のあるアーチ型の天井、2つの座席エリアとダイニングルームがある開放的で開放的なフロアプランが迎えられます。 ダイニング/食事の準備に必要なものがすべて揃ったキッチンを完備しています。 キッチンは、フロントラップポーチの周りと内側の素敵な座席エリアに直接開いています。 シェフが夜の食事を準備している間に友人や家族が集まるのに最適なレイアウト。その日の会話や出来事から除外されることはありません。 キッチンの外には、メインリビングルームとすべての視聴ニーズに対応したスマートフラットスクリーンテレビがあります。 この家には、直接テレビとWIFIがあります。 ダイニングルームはメインリビングルームに直接開いています。 ダイニングテーブルは6人用に設定されており、隣接するキッチンエリアのバートップには3人用の追加の座席があります。

What a lovely place to stay! This house was super clean, really pretty, a really well equipped kitchen. It was super walkable to town and just a very short walk to the beach. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Great Location with Lots of Room

This was a wonderful location with enough bedrooms and bathrooms that everyone had their own space. The home was clean and within walking distance to town and the beach which allowed us to quickly walk to see the most beautiful sunrise!!

Memorable Unique Beach Home

We gathered a small group of family and celebrated life! We marveled at how cozy and pretty the home was and it had every TV ing we needed to make a fantastic shrimp and grits dinner! We also went out to the local places and of course, walked to Bert’s and Chico Feo many times. We had a blast and this special home made our stay perfect!

Great beach cottage!

We had five family members staying at the house for a few days for a college graduation. We love quaint and quirky beach cottages, which is why we picked this home. The house was perfect for us, slept all of us with no problems, and we used the outside front patio the most to hang out. The location is just incredible as you have a very short walk to Bert‘s market and the beach as well as restaurants and shops. The house had all the amenities you need and we really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing

Joe’s Folly is the coolest house, great for our kids too. We felt so cozy and at home. The location is awesome; you can walk anywhere easily. The yard is great for playing too. The house was clean and had all we needed. Thanks so much for sharing this special place with us.

Great little getaway! The home was just as advertised and a perfect space for our group of 7. The location is walkable to downtown, but not so close you hear it all night. The owners provide everything you need to make it comfortable and relaxing! Would absolutely stay again!

Saving the day

We came to Folly for the weekend to celebrate our daughters masters graduation. Our original rental was not acceptable and we had to scramble to find another house. Joes Folly was available last minute and the property managers happy to help us out. The house was perfect - great location!!

Family beach vacation

This home is beautiful and was perfect for our party of 7. My husband and I traveled with our 3 kids (8,6,&3) along with my parents. We were so comfortable and footsteps to the public beach access.

Cute cottage in a great location! Beds were very comfortable! Easy walking distance to beach and all our favorite spots in town. Fireplace is not functional, but not a big deal to us.

Great Beach House

This is a great place to stay! There is a bedroom on each side of the house for couples and one in the middle that would be good for kids. The beach is very close with only a 2-3 minute walk. The front porch is a nice shady spot all day to relax on. The house is clean and comfortable with everything one would need. There are 6 beach chairs and a beach wagon so no need to bring all that stuff. They also provide several beach towels. The manager is very responsive and easy to communicate with. We would love to stay here again sometime!

The house was really nicely outfitted with everything that you would ever need. No kayaks or bikes but you can rent them a stones throw away. Easy walk into town for good eats and dive surfer bars!

Added golf cart rental and loved being close to Bert's.

All was wonderful. Only hiccup was there was only 1 refrigerator/freezer, and it was advertised as having two. Otherwise we would very much consider it again.

Amazing Hidden Gem

Joe’s Folly was perfect for my brother’s bachelor party! It’s a beautiful little piece of property that comfortable slept 7, and was close enough to everything from the beach to downtown Charleston that we never felt removed from where we wanted to go! The hosts were incredibly communicative, helpful, and kind, and followed through even after our stay was over with things that may have been left behind. I would book this property again in a heartbeat if I’m planning another trip to Folly Beach!

This property was outstanding. Perfect location on Folly Beach. Walking distance to downtown Folly and a block away from beach access. Management was so prompt with communication and went above expectations. If I could give 10 stars I would. We will be back!

This home is owned by the original family who built it in the 1950's. Since that time children have grown, had children of their own who now they too have added to the family! It's been a family destination for decades. Withstood the wrath of Hurricane Hugo. Been a sanctuary in good times and bad. What a blessing to be able to share this special destination with others.

Homes have come and gone on Folly but this one has withstood the test of time. It is loved, well maintained, clean, inviting and comfortable with the charm and grace that you expect from a classic southern home. It is the perfect destination for a group of friends or family. Once you park your car you may never need to get back in it. You can easily walk to the beach, pier, shops, restaurants and local grocery "Berts". While it's in such a convenient location it is also private with a large, shaded yard out back and private front yard. With two seating areas you get to have space for those who might want to watch a game on the TV while others enjoy conversation in the adjacent sitting room or directly off kitchen on the covered porch.
