We enjoyed this home away from home.
The home:
It's located next to a busy street, and periodically we could hear the neighbor upstairs, but based on other reviews, we knew to expect this. The home was nicely decorated, and very clean. I always appreciate thick bath towels and quality toiletries, and this place did not disappoint! It has a pleasant patio in the back, where we enjoyed some wine we picked up from our excursion to the local wine country. The home was equipped with a pair of Riedel glasses perfect for enjoying pinot! The location was pretty convenient to a few neighborhoods that we explored. Our favorites within walking distance were Ox (for dinner) and Bridges (for breakfast). The home is not far from Tasty & Sons on Williams, or from Alberta Arts District, though we did drive to both. Over the weekend, we had no problems finding street parking near the home; during the week, though, it became more of a challenge. We didn't end up cooking any meals, but the kitchen seemed well stocked.
The people:
-The owner was very responsive and easy to deal with. The renter's guide in the home gave us the impression that this owner is a very conscientious, professional, and organized vacation rental owner. We had everything we needed. There was even a printer, which we didn't need but offered convenience.
-The local property manager was also very responsive and proactively reached out to us early in our stay to see how things were going. We appreciated being able to arrive late at night (due to flight schedules) without hassle.
