Relax as a couple at this peaceful waterfront cottage. Enjoy gorgeous sunsets and Lakeviews while enjoying the serenity of the quiet forest!
This Cabin can accommodate 2 guests. It is equipped with WiFi, a TV, & Amazon Firestick. We provide a double bed with Mattress pad, comforter, and pillows. Provided within your stay is a Mini Fridge, Microwave, Kettle and Toaster. Separate Cabin has 2 Pc Washroom with sink & toilet! Swiming is available in lake. Parking for 1 vehicle.
This cottage is just 10-15 minutes from the town of Bancroft where guests can purchase groceries, and visit local shop & restaurants.
All garbage and recyclables must be removed upon departure and taken to the local Faraday Township dump in clear garbage bags.
We provide a Temporary dump pass and kit. The Facility is now charging for Temporary dump pass. This is Not inclu3ded within the cleaning fee. Fee is $5.00

Very cute bunkie with friendly hosts! Access to a beautiful shared dock with walk-in steps to the lake. I don’t recommend sleeping in the loft unless you’re a child. Be aware that this location isn’t very private — the cabin sits in the driveway of the hosts’ main house, there are no curtains, and the dock is shared. The fire pit was broken/inaccessible, and the BBQ is in rough shape (we made it work for one meal). We brought a camp stove, but there’s no outdoor table to cook on.Beautiful location overall! Would check out one of their other cottages next time.

This cottage is advertised as a Bunkie with loft sleeping. We allow guests to use our cottage dock that we share. If we built a private dock the rental rates would go up substantially. There is now a propane Firepit included with the rental of this cottage. We always ask that any of our guests come to us with any questions or complaints so we can address and fix them while the guest is on the property. We try tk make all our guests comfortable and happy during their rental! Glynnis Kenslynne Cottages

Tucked in a sheltered cove and nestled in a soft coniferous forest, the Kenslynne domain hosts a cluster of secluded cottages on the rocky shores of Faraday Lake. Lynne or Glynnis will welcome you like family to stay in one of their beautiful lakeside homes. We stayed in Sharon's Lakeview Cottage, a tiny-home-like experience also known as the "Bunkie". This adorable little cabin does not have all the amenities of the other larger cottages, but is a cozy stay with its loft bed and pull-out loveseat. We walked the short stone path down to the shared dock with laddered steps down to a clear, warm lake every morning, and a few nights as well. The swimming was fabulous, the perfect balance of warm and cool against the hot August weather. The historic downtown of Bancroft is a quick 10 minute drive away, with small local shops and cafés, as well as full grocery shopping. It felt like camping in comfort, cooking local farm produce on our deckside BBQ, and taking meals in the dappled shaded swing seats by the firepit. I'm looking forward to trying the other cottages on future trips!
