As advertised, spacious, comfy, cute, worked well for our group of five family members. One caveat is if we were 3 couples with two of the rooms adjoining each and the primary only accessible by going through the second room that would have been a problem, but with a couple with kids ok. Nice outdoor features and creative 1/2 bath on the main floor.

Great access from parking to front door. Kitchen was roomy (with some hard to open cabinets) We found it to have a strange configuration of bedrooms and quite small bathrooms. Comfortable bed. We felt safe, and it was nice and quiet. Owner was very responsive and accommodating.

AC system is not fully adequate to cool whole house. Down stairs was barely acceptable with a temp of 75, on a day where outside air temp was 85. Upstairs was at a ridiculous temp of 88 degrees. Skylights and windows allowing full sun to heat to very, very uncomfortable levels. Should provide some sort of shade, at the very least! Advertised as a 3 bedroom!!! It had one fully private bedroom with a queen bed. The other bedroom was a walk through room with only a twin bed in it. When you pass through the walk through bedroom, you wind up in a large bedroom with 2 queen sized beds. If I had rented with 3 couples rather than family, it would have been a very, very awkward experience!!!!! So disappointing! Lawn was not cut, long grass, not very appealing. Looked nasty! Patio automatic security light would go on and off all night long. I did not report the light, because to repair light, whole light would need to be replaced. We were only there for 2 nights.

The house was perfect for my needs. It was clean and the primary bedroom and den were very spacious. I felt safe in the neighborhood, nice driveway to park in. Wish I had been there longer to utilize the outdoor space

July 4th weekend at the capital

Our family of 6 adults and my 3 years old grandson stayed here during the July 4th weekend. The location was excellent. Closed to DC and Eden Center and many Restaurants. This is a duplex but the neighbor was friendly and quiet. Parking was good for 3 cars including street parking in front. There were plenty of space for my grandson to play and explored in the fenced backyard. There was a great outdoor seating area with an umbrella and fire-pit. Also a grill which we did not use. During our stay the temperature outside was 90 degree but the A/C inside kept us very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking but went out of paper towel. The only issue was the carpet in bedroom which have multiple stains. Overall the place was well kept. Ali was great and answered questions promptly. I would return again and stay here in the future.

Not exactly as pictured

This property needs a little love. Upon arrival the ac was in but not pushing our through the air vents. The owner was responsive but dismissive. He acted as if we could just wait for the air to get cooler as opposed to reading my text and understanding the issue. The ac got worse and the downstairs temp was 77 and up stairs was over 82. Supposedly came out the next day and said the issue was fixed. That was not the case. The air flow was still non existent. Other issues include1. the grass in the back yard are two feet tall, 2. Dirty towels in the laundry bag in guest closet3. Towels in dryer that were not dry4. Fan looks like it falling out if ceiling in family room5. Glass shelf in shower on the ground in shower.6. Pull out bed is in master bedroom, not pictured that way online7. Bird poop all over the cushions and furniture outside. Clearly have not been cleaned in a while8. Board on the deck is dangerously wrapped As a vrbo owner myslef i understand how hard it is to please people, but All if these items could be easily fixed and would have made for a better experience.

Quiet neighborhood and clean home

Home was very clean. I didn’t realize it was a duplex but you could not hear anyone in the adjoining home. It was the quietest neighborhood. Rooms were a little hot for us southern folks.

Very pleased with the communication with Ali. We had some unfortunate issues come up but overall we had a great stay. The only complaint that I was told about was the extra bed in the main bedroom was very hard and uncomfortable. We didn't get to use the outdoor patio area like we had planned because of our own time constraints. Home is close enough to Washington to drive or take the metro. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Great experience

The property was great for my family. We really enjoyed our stay and would most definitely stay again. We loved the kitchen and the master bedroom with the balcony. The coffee and snacks were a plus since we are coffee drinkers, and kettle chips are my favorite!Thanks Ali !!

It was only a one night stay but would go back and stay longer. It was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet.

Great host

We had a wonderful time this place is extremely clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. The pool table is a mini table which would be great for kids.

What a beautiful place! Such a home-away-from-home feeling! Clean and convenient location for our stay and I will definitely look to stay again! The host was so helpful and quick with responding, when I had a question. I had a lot going on preparing for my daughters wedding and my mind was all over the place. It was great knowing I had a clean, safe, and spacious place to lay our head down for a great nights sleep!

Nice Property

This home worked well for myself and my two adult children. Main bed in the master was super comfy! Secondary bed (in master) was basically a futon matress... would be nicer if there was a matress topper. Home had the basic necessities - maybe lacking some kitchen hand towels and some things in the kitchen like large stock pot, mixer, grater etc. I think this is a pretty new vacation rental so more than likely they are working out the bugs. It totally worked for us. Owner very responsive. Check in process easy.

Perfect Spot for Us!

This home turned out to be just perfect for me and my 2 girlfriends. Nice and comfortable! Great location to all the places we needed to go to! Quiet street and neighborhood. Easy check-in and check-out! And, we loved hanging out on the back patio around the firepit.

Everything is relatively new and very clean. Every room is nicely decorated, the kitchen is very functional. Loved the backyard seating area!
