Thank you for your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations. We do want to note that the only issue brought to our attention during your stay was related to the dryer, and we promptly sent our maintenance team out to address it. Unfortunately, we were not informed of the other concerns you mentioned, such as the cleanliness, TV functionality, or remote batteries. Had we been made aware of these issues at the time, we would have acted immediately to resolve them and improve your experience. We take all guest feedback seriously and will be reviewing your comments with our cleaning and maintenance teams to ensure this does not happen in the future. Thank you again for sharing your feedback.

Hi Michelle, thanks for your review. We wanted you to know that the outdoor balcony chairs were just replaced yesterday. We hope you will be back soon!

Christine, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We value your feedback. As soon as we were made aware of your situation, we had someone from our maintenance team come take a look right away. We take this very seriously and want to make sure it gets addressed promptly. We understand how unsettling this kind of situation can be and we made it a point to be in continual contact with you. We informed management immediately and advised you on how best to handle the circumstances. You were never told to throw anything away. You were advised not to. We told you how to handle your belongings so things did not need to be discarded. Several staff members spoke with you throughout this process, as well as management. We provided you with contact information in order to help you find accommodations, as well as anything that was needed to make this a smoother process and made sure you were well taken care of. Please know our team prides themselves in going above and beyond to care for our guests. We apologize that this was your experience. We are here to ensure we give our guests quality customer support throughout their stay.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed the breathtaking view. Regarding the balcony restrictions, we want to clarify that as soon as we were informed by the city, we immediately notified all guests booked at Carolina Dunes with detailed information and options for their stay. We're not sure why you did not receive this message, and we understand how disappointing that must have been, especially since the balcony was an important part of your plans. As for the mattresses and bed frames, we appreciate your input and will share it with the property owner as we continue to work on upgrades. We also want to let you know that we provide guests with a starter pack of toiletries, garbage bags, soap, and similar essentials to get them settled, but guests are expected to bring or purchase additional supplies as needed for longer stays. This information is provided in your check in letter. Don't hesitate to reach out to us during your stay if any of these items are missing. Thank you again for your thoughtful comments. We hope to welcome you back in the future for an even better experience.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. I truly understand how disappointing and frustrating this experience must have been, especially considering how much you were looking forward to enjoying the balcony and the “penthouse view” that was advertised. I sincerely apologize for the timing of the construction and the disruption it caused during your stay. While we did our best to notify guests as early as possible and offer alternatives, I recognize that a last-minute change like this—especially when options are limited—can really impact your vacation plans. We’re glad to hear you appreciated the condo itself, the location, and that you were satisfied with the additional refund, but we’re genuinely sorry that the noise from construction made your time in the unit uncomfortable. Your feedback is important, and it helps us better communicate and prepare for situations like this moving forward. Thank you again for your patience and understanding, and we hope you’ll consider giving us another opportunity in the future under better circumstances.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the location, the view, and that you had a positive interaction with our maintenance team. That said, we’re very sorry to hear about the condition issues you described. We always want to address any concerns as quickly as possible to ensure our guests have a comfortable stay. However, we did not receive any communication from you during your visit regarding these other problems. Had we been made aware, we absolutely would have sent our team out right away to inspect and resolve as much as possible in real time. We take all feedback seriously and will be reviewing your comments with our housekeeping and maintenance teams. We’ll also share your notes about the furniture and kitchen items with the property owner, though please keep in mind that some features and furnishings may vary slightly from listing photos over time due to upgrades or replacements. Thank you again for staying with us, and we appreciate your input as it helps us improve.
