Sweet kid & pet friendly studio near Ithaca & Watkins

Spacious studio apartment downstairs in our home with separate entrance, 1 queen bed and 1 futon, full bath and kitchen stocked with basic cookware and dishes plus coffee, tea, and breakfast items. Fresh eggs when the chickens are laying! Shared laundry available. My kids and I live upstairs-we love visitors and do our best to be quiet neighbors, but you will hear us a bit during the day. Always quiet after bedtime though!
There's a sweet outdoor area, fire pit, safe backyard space and large tent available if anyone wants to camp outside! Kid and pet friendly (dogs must be leashed when outside). Short 20 min drive to Ithaca, 30/40 min to Elmira, Corning, Watkins Glen, & Owego. There are so many good things to enjoy in the finger lakes throughout the summer from live music to wine tours, and so many beautiful forests and waterfalls to explore.

Needs a Little Care

We booked this property for access to Robert Treman State Park and it was about a 15 minute drive to get to the main gate. The property is in a very rural setting and the grounds needed some attention. We didn't mind the chicken coop and the view from the back was nice, but the outdoor chairs were worn and needed cleaning. The efficiency unit itself was okay but the far wall needed some repair and the shower was small with poor water pressure. The main bed was comfortable enough but the extra bed (which we didn't need) was not. The big chair for watching TV was huge but not conducive to relaxing. Megan was responsive when contacted prior to the trip. For what we paid to stay, we would have been better off to book into an Ithaca motel for a short stay in the area of the Falls.

Very deceptive with an excellent rating!! The house was not very prepared for us and the outside was very bad. Not usable and outside all grown up and messy. I was very disappointed!!

My kids and I live upstairs. We're not always home during rentals, but when we are we try hard to be good neighbors and share the space well. There's always a little kid noise upstairs during days we are home, but it's always very peaceful after bedtime. The kids and I are mostly just doing our own thing, but if we're around we're always happy to say hello. We enjoy having visitors downstairs & wholeheartedly welcome families and any folks with unique needs- If there are any accommodations I can help with, I am more than happy to so please ask!
